About Foodio54: Mike

Mike Van Heyde works as Co-Founder of Foodio54.com in Cleveland, Ohio.

I do all of the back end (databases, recommender algorithm, etc) and some of the front end for Foodio54. I also work with Drew on many of our marketing efforts to spread the word about Foodio54.

My day job is working as a usability architect at a Fortune 500 company, commercial auto insurance... have some good anchor text guys :). To that end Foodio54 sometimes serves as a real world testing ground for work related usability ideas.

I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science at Kent State University.
