  • Dancing Avocado Kitchen in Daytona Beach

    Dancing Avocado Kitchen

I opted to have the V BLT which was rather interesting- a Vegan Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwich with avocado. Though not my most favorite sandwich ever it was pretty tasty. The "bacon" was actually made out of eggplant and made right there on the premises. Though it tasted nothing like bacon (and I don't think it was intended too) I really enjoyed the smoky flavor.

  • Black Molly Grill in Saint Augustine

    Black Molly Grill

The Black Molly Grill looks new both on the inside and the outside and not like your typical seafood type restaurant. No decorative lobster cages hanging on the wall. No roped fishing nets draped across the ceiling. Just clean and simple.

  • The Present Moment and Market in Saint Augustine

    The Present Moment and Market

We started with A Middle East Peace Hummus which was described as a no bean hummus made with cashews and drizzled with a mint oil. Served with fresh veggies and corn chips, you would have no idea this was beanless. It was creamy and hearty and I loved the mint oil dribbled around the plate.

    The Back 40 Urban Cafe

We saw a lady at another table that had the world's largest burrito sitting in front of her. Turns out it was their popular Wet Burrito which we also ended up ordering. This thing was STUFFED with black beans, brown rice, roasted red peppers, cheese, jalapenos, tomatoes and lettuce and topped with red chili sauce.
