  • Takashi in Salt Lake City

The only thing that I saw as a negative, and I’ve heard this from several friends now is Takashi is a bit on the expensive side. I left pretty full, but between the 3 of us, the bill was at $130. While I loved Takashi, and enjoyed their sushi, I probably won’t be going back for a leisurely dinner.

  • Evvia Estiatorio in Palo Alto

    Evvia Estiatorio

Lamb Souvlaki. I'm going to get emotional when describing this dish. Holy Freaking Crap! Amazing! I mean for starters, check out the lemon on the left side of the plate. It was wrapped in a cloth and tied with a nice little ribbon. Evvia apparently didn't want to take any chances of me accidentally squirting a seed onto my meal and thus tainting ever so slightly the experience.

  • Bachi Burger in Las Vegas

    Bachi Burger

My burger was the love child of a cheeseburger and the Bahn Mi Sandwich. Beef, pork, and shrimp patty with lemongrass, pork pate, fresh herbs, curry aioli, pickled veggies, and nuoc mam sauce. This burger was also amazing. I've had some really good bahn mi sandwiches before, and I love the bahn mi. The only thing I got worried about is when the waitress said it came with a fish sauce. The sauce didn't give the burger a fishy taste at all, in fact it enhanced the flavor beautifully.

    Rick and Ann's Restaurant

I'm not sure if this plate of mac and cheese could get any cheesier. When my waiter brought it out to me, there were all sorts of bubbling cheeses everywhere, and the aroma was absolutely dynamite!

  • Faustina in Salt Lake City

The presentation was beautiful on this dish. The Faustina lasagna is more of a savory beefy lasagna then a traditional Italian marinara based lasagna. My favorite part of it was the delicious salami throughout the dish. There was a lot of savory flavors that played well together. While I enjoyed the dish, I wouldn’t call it one of my favorites.

    Bohemian Brewery & Grill

I would eat at Bohemian Brewery again for sure. The plates were a touch on the expensive side at $15 to $20 a plate, but the quality and atmosphere made it worth it. I’ve also heard from my office beer drinkers that the selection is quite nice.
