  • Marche Artisan Foods in Nashville

    Marche Artisan Foods

Final Impressions: I enjoy the openness of the restaurant. It has a bright, airy, cheerful vibe and would have been a very comfortable atmosphere if the air conditioner had been working properly. I also appreciate the fact that the brunch menu changes weekly to utilize seasonal ingredients. Take caution, the sangria is more like a wine spritzer, and since the space is small, you will usually have to wait a few minutes for a table. There is also an option to get half portions of brunch options. While I enjoyed the feel of the space, I don't think the food was worth the money after my pocketbook was $50 lighter.

  • Prune in New York

    Prune

My favorite part about this restaurant was the atmosphere. It almost felt like everyone was just hanging out after work having a drink. And I mean everyone. It was super relaxed and having a great time. That being said, the restaurant is a little noisy and may not be conducive to quiet, romantic date night. But for our purposes, a raucous girls night out, it was absolutely perfect.

    Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar

Our next dish was rabbit, which included the white and dark meat, rabbit terrine and morels in a light cream sauce. I had a bite of the white meat and thought, "wow, that's tasty." But when I tasted the dark meat, I was floored. It was absolutely delicious - well-cooked and expertly seasoned.

    Muddy's Bake Shop

Their cupcakes are just like grandma used to make. Try some now! Now that I will be making fewer trips, you should pick up my slack. Grab a Frankly Scarlett (Red Velvet Cake) or a Snickerdoodle cupcake. Those are my personal favorites.

  • Tin Angel Restaurant in Nashville

    Tin Angel Restaurant

Tin Angel is a great choice for Sunday brunch, but beware; parking is absolutely terrible. The restaurant has a miniscule parking lot behind the building, and most of the patrons had to park along the street up a very steep hill. Be sure to take advantage of their valet parking service.

    Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

In looking back at my blog, I couldn't believe that I hadn't written a word, nary a peep, about Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. Now, if anyone asks me where they need to eat in Memphis, my first question is generally, "Have you been to Gus's?" (Unless they're vegetarians or they have something against delicious food.)
