  • Circle R Bar in Oak Creek

    Circle R Bar

After much deliberation, we went with duck, pork sliders and surf n turf. Then for dessert, a lime-pear bread pudding with pomegranate seeds. My mind was blown by the pork (AMAZING!), and the crab cakes that came with the surf n turf were some of the best I've ever eaten. Even the salad garnish that came with the duck phyllo pastries was delicious.

  • Parkway Deli and Restaurant in Silver Spring

    Parkway Deli and Restaurant

We got excited about the Traditional Jewish Fare on the menu….maybe a little too excited, because we ordered quite a spread, starting with the matzo ball soup. The soup had a hearty mix of carrots, celery, and chicken. The matzo ball was tasty but a little on the salty side. SaZzy noted that it satisfied on a cold fall day, but that her recipe is better.
