How does Foodio54 work?

So how does Foodio54 really work? The simple truth is that we rely on you to make to make this work. We don't go out and rate these restaurants for you...you do. We don't recommend restaurants for you..other people do. All we do is make it possible. Here are a couple of things that you can do that will really make this work.

How you rate the restaurants you've been to will help us determine not only what places you like or dislike, but which members you are compatible with. So, the more restaurants that you rate the better our predictions will be for you. Also, don't just rate the restaurants that you liked. If you hated a restaurant let us know and give it a one-star rating. If you loved it give it a big whopping five-star rating. We can find out which restaurants you'll like just by using the ones that you didn't.

We rely on you to "Tag" restaurants with information about them that helps define that restaurant. The more tags the better. If the place is sketchy...add sketchy to tags. If they have great sandwiches..add great sandwiches to the tags. You get the idea. By doing this you create an image of that place for everyone else and you also help us sort restaurants for you in your searches.

Every once in a while you may find a restaurant with incorrect information. Maybe the phone number is wrong or the name is misspelled. Don't be shy. Go right in there and change the information.
