Great food, always fun, great service, and beautiful atmosphere. Very, very, expensive for Mexican food.

I love Sadie's. I lived in Albququerque's north valley for over 20 years and began eating at Sadie's when it was still in the bowling alley. Always excellent, excellent New Mexican food. We always take our of state friends to Sadie's for a real NM treat. Can't go wrong, the wait is long but well worth it. Great food, great service!

Best Salsa in THE WHOLE WORLD.
by TheTraveler
We visited Albuquerque and ate at Sadie's twice.I could eat every meal there, and it would probably be carne adavado, which is FANTASTIC. Being so far away, they should send me their recipe! Great, great salsa.
by martinezj
being from Texas I am quite picky-but this was the best Carne Adovado I have ever had--I would rank this #1 overall--anywhere!

I grew up in Albuquerque, and one of the things I miss the most is Sadie's chili con queso. As good as the nectar of the gods, it is a must have. I also miss the green chili sauce. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great New Mexican food.

Sadies- GREAT PLACE. It's a lively atmosphere, fun, lots of good food, and SPICY SALSA! This was our late Son's favorite place, and for good reason. It's an Albuquerque Classic.
Best food I have ever had. I grew up in Alb. moved to Texas about nine years ago I miss real mexican food. Please let me know how I can buy your hot sauce it would also be nice to get green enchilade sauce. Thank you and keep up the great cooking.

I've lived in Albuquerque my entire life and Sadie's is my favorite Mexican food restaurant. New Mexico has literally hundreds of restaurants catering to the local culture, and I think Sadie's is the best of the bunch. They make their own chips, and a world-class salsa to accompany them. They have a truly authentic menu, refusing to devote entire pages to American or other cuisine to draw a larger customer base (as if they need to!)If you're looking for a higher-class Mexican food restaurant that is still authentic and delicious, Sadie's is your place.

Sadie's has become a legend for traditional New Mexican cuisine. With it's beginnings in a bowling alley it is now in a much larger location. Even their salsa is sold in other restaurants. The few times I have been there the memories of the best carne adovada I have ever had always comes to mind, but I try something else. I have not been disappointed. Portions are on the large size so be prepared. The waiting seems to be longer as more people show up to eat, I try and go during the week. But it would still be worth the wait.

Salsa is hot and delicious! 3 item combo of chile relleno w/green sauce and 2 tacos. Delicious and huge portions!

Horrible service and they still charged me after they said they wouldn't. Why would I want a gift certificate to come back? No thank you.

Stick to the house marg, great taste and value! Silver Coin is not worth the 10.50 price and tastes very average. Unfortunately they have no fresh lime juice behind the bar.

I have loved Sadie's for like 20 years. Just an FYI- if you're not a big eater, you can order almost anything a la carte. You won't miss the papas and/or beans.

The lunch specials are a great value. When ordering the Burrito plate ask for the "Grilled Beef" the other beef is better suited for tacos.
