Bella Italia Pizza Reviews

Bella Italia is hands down the best pizza on the Main Line. It's the best Italian style pizza this side of Philly. Their Cheesesteak Pie is absolutely unrivaled and one slice suffices as a meal. Overall, their steaks and pizza are second to none in the area.

Bella Italia is a bus stop pizza joint in a small village, as a result it gets a lots of customers, but there are much better places in Ardmore for pizza and other food. I've found the pizza oily and tasteless. The employees surly. The ambiance poor.

New York City has the best Pizza in the world. No sense denying that. But Bella Italia is one of the only places outside of NYC I will bother to eat pizza. The Reviewer complaining about the lack of crust must be from Chicago and used to eating that casserole they call pizza in that city. No "gourmet" faux pizza, no deep dish monstrosity. Just simple pizza pie like it should be.

Bella Italia is definitely better for take-out, especially if it is a Friday or Saturday night, on those nights the place is overrun with drunk college kids. Pizza is okay, eggplant parm is by far the best I have had anywhere, the french fries are NOT worth ordering.

I've lived in Philly for 8 years now, I've been to Jim's, Tony Luke's, DelSandro's, and I think that Bella Italia has one of the best cheesesteaks around- they are phenomenal. Bella Italia is traditional Italian pizza (hence rather thin crust), that IS made fresh, and is absolutely brilliant. The sauce is just right on the sweet side, and the crust and cheese are perfect. I've been there tons of times. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza and steaks in the area. You cannot go wrong here, I"m serious!

My fiancee and I got a large piza from here the other night. half plain, half tomato. Lets being with the dough. they make it a point to say "fresh dough made daily." well whats the point when the dough is non-existant? Its was so thin it was like eating just cheese and sauce. There was no crust to speak of, the sauce was lacking, and the tomatos were few and far between(not to mention bad tasting). I know pizza. its my passion. I wouldnt even recommend this as "drunk pizza" at 2am, after a night out on the town. my fiancee' called it "the aboslute worst pizza Í have ever had." I agree. terrible.
