Casa Colombia was a wonderful choice this year for Valentine’s Day. After an afternoon at the Arbor Cinema watching Slumdog Millionaire, the hubster and I decided to try some place different for dinner...

Get there before noon it will get busy and packed!

This is the very best Latin American Cuisine in all of Austin! Closed Monday's. You can't go wrong here but get an empanadas to start! Then drive around the East side of town and check it out!

Must try their Mimosas. I recommend the pineapple and blackberry :p

Best Best, most authentic Latin food in all of Austin. Very reasonably priced. Closed Monday's. Sometimes, they get crowded sometimes so expect a little wait if they're busy but worth the wait!

Arepas are outstanding. Pescado con Cilantro is delicious with fried yucca. But most of all the MANGO MIMOSA is to die for. Definitely coming back soon.

So much meat! The portions are giant. You may want to share an entrée. Our leftovers weighed like 5 lbs.

If you like soup: the sopa de patacones is bomb! Playing it safe? Arroz con pollo or pollo relleno. The best: ropa vieja or bandeja paisa. Whatever you do GET THE EMPANADA!!!!
by Erika S.
Long wait, but we had a big group. Plus the wait staff was very nice.
