  • Kris3214 reviewI was blown away by Bo Brooks' new location in Canton...a far cry from the `old place` on Belair Road. The crabs were, as always, incredible, but the new seafood menu was really out of this world.

  • rmlundvall reviewMy husband took me to Bo Brooks this afternoon. We intended to have crabs and spend the evening overlooking the harbor. First thing when we entered the hostess didn't extend any kind of a welcome--just asked us if we were walk ins and the seater took us wordlessly to the deck where we waited for 20 minutes looking at the back of a big tent between us and the harbor before anyone came to give us a menu. We waited another 15 minutes for our appetizer and had finished it by the time she returned to realize the other appetizer had not been delivered. By then we had decided dinner would be a mistake. The calamari was okay and the sauce was good, but the crab guacamole appetizer needs to be renamed guacamole with a teaspoon of crab on it served with cold grease tortillas. We were so glad to leave, but felt so ripped off. What a shame for a place with such a gorgeous location and a good name in Baltimore to have given us such a rotten afternoon.

  • Kris3214 reviewI've never had a bad time at Bo's. The new facility has an amazing view, coupled with an incredible new menu. The crabs, however, still rule!

  • sluckman reviewUnbelievable crabs in February. Obviously from Louisiana or the like, but extremely fresh and perfectly seasoned. Service was attentive. Love the new location.

  • Kris3214 reviewLiving in Florida, but being a Baltimore native, I can tell you from years of experience that this restaurant rules for hot, steamed crabs. Even during a brief visit to Charm City a few years ago, I assure you that you can take the boy out of the crab capital, but you can't take away his crab-petite. Can't wait til my next visit. Cheers!

  • kathyevans reviewI eat at this great restaurant repeatedly. The crabs are always fantastic...the service upbeat and fun....management great. What else could you ask for from any restaurant. The best crabs to ever pass your lips.

  • lindahartman1 reviewI visited the restaurant's new location on Friday (6/30/00) it was awesome!! My favorite was the Crab Augratin Dip...it was to die for! The crabs were big and heavy...seasoned to perfection! We had a group of 33 people, the service was great. Keep up the good work Bo Brooks!!!

  • lumpcrabcake reviewWe hadn't been to Bo Brooks since they were on Belair Rd. So, last night we went. Got an outdoor table that proved to be the best part of the whole experience. Saw a beautiful sunset on a cool, clear evening. Even saw some ducks on the water. The menu's smaller than before for starters. Cream of crab soup was spiceless. Onion rings were no better than anywhere else. Crab cakes were more filler than meat. Three of us got the seafood platter which did contain some nice big scallops which tasted fine. The rest of it, including the crab cake, shrimp, and flounder were only ok. My wife's steak (part of the surf & turf) was cooked as she requested, which was the only real plus side of the food. You can get lots better seafood for less at a lot of places around this town. So, it looks like Bo Brooks has become just another downtown tourist trap. They were better on Belair Rd.

  • Kris3214 reviewWe ordered XL crabs $72/dozen and they honestly were the worst crabs I have ever eaten. Of the dozen 2 were actually worth the time. Next time I will just to further down the street to Canton Dockside where the crabs have never let me down.
