Not a fancy restaurant at all but the food is good and the price is right.

My favorite dive here in Beaumont was Three Amigos, until Rita took it out.Now it's Carmela's. We live less than a mile away, and go there all the time.Caveat: it is, sadly, one of the many restaurants here that have switched to Pepsi, so I get the tea.Tip #1: Sit on the left side. The right side is usually significantly louder due to the acoustics of the room.Tip #2: The half-order of Supreme Nachos is great. You can substitute fajita beef or chicken for $1 more.Tip #3: The super burrito is enough to feed a small third-world country. Plan to leave with leftovers.Getting service to take your order can be slow at times, but the service is friendly and the food generally comes out very quickly. by ChefMoz.org
Carmela's is our favorite TexMex restaurant in the Golden Triangle. It's less expensive and the portions are generous. The prices of the childrens' meals is very reasonable as well. The atmosphere is a bit forgetable, but once we get our food, we don't really mind because it's amazing.(I have had better guacamole though.)Thumbs up! by ChefMoz.org
The queso is AMAZING. The hot sauce is PERFECT. Anytime I am in town I HAVE to eat here. Usually I even take some back with me! by ChefMoz.org
We have been eating here for about 4-5 years and LOVE their food. Service is passable and so far as ambiance, it is a texmex restaurant, what do you expect! the new place is much nicer than the old dq where they started. GO EAT HERE! by ChefMoz.org
This place is great on the pocket book and the tummy! This place is a bargain, and the food is perfect. The service isn't great, but that doesn't matter. The ambiance is typical for the "mexican" restaraunt. by ChefMoz.org
This Tex-Mex restaurant will surely make your belly satisfied. It has great prices for the abundant amount of food they serve on each plate. This is the home of the best flameado in Texas! With it's perfectly grilled fajita meat and smothered with the restaurant's creamy chile con queso, served with three home made flour tortillas, it doesn't deserve to be put in the appetizers section, but with the restaurant's best feature. Everyone should try this place! by ChefMoz.org
Eat the Torta! Best $5 you will ever spend! P.S. they have Big Red on tap...yessss!by Jessica J.
Awesome Margarita's and the BEST FAJITAS A LA DIABLA!!!by Amanda M.
Wonderful food and service. Try the Chicken Mole. Husband loves the fajitas.by Brandy S.
The Shrimp ala Diablo is WONDERFUL!by Deanna M.
Definitely not as good as it use to be. The service and quality of food varies depending on the time and day. I would recommend Elena's or Carlito's instead if you're looking for some Tex-Mex.by Kirk S.
The food is great but pass on the frozen margarita, it's nothing but sugar.by Beth R.
If you make it here for breakfast (starting at 7:30 a.m.), don't leave without trying the hash browns, says Enterprise food writer Alex McGuffie.by Bmt Enterprise
