  • MissTakenFor reviewwhen i read the reviews, i laughed. it seemed that the competitors wrote them. first, how is $15 for a HUGE serving "over priced"? i get way less when going to McDonalds-get real. and to state someone probably has rats, when you yourself dont even work there, is unfounded. id have given 5 stars, but i wish there was more room to bring friends inside as well as better parking-its not meant for group outings.. but the food was great and so cheap compared to other places. i just might cater here (if they do catering) for my sons birthday next month. worth trying.

WOW Can't believe you were allowed to write this review. They won by a landslide. they are by far one of the cleanest restaurant around there food is second to none in quality they are so well known that they supply public and private schools with hot lunches almost daily... Read all the reviews and magazines. If you want GREAT food THE PIT IN BLOOMFIELD is it just go see for yourself...... The wood pit in Montclair does not even compare.

  • MalloryArt reviewTERRIBLE FOOD. Prices are too high for amount and taste of food. Service is downright rude. I'm pretty sure there are rats b/c I live across the street and had never seen rats before they moved in, but now do. DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you are looking for good Barbecue go to The WOOD Pit on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair, that place is AMAZING!
