Best place to get a scotch
This is what dining should be. All the pasta is made by hand. The truffled gnocchi melts on your tounge, and doesn't sit like a rock in your stomach. But this is more than northern Italian food. The wine list is one of the best I've ever seen, and all the wait staff is very knowledgable and helpful. I've been to many restaurants in this price range (the tasting menus range from $95 to $125). This is the only one that's worth it.

We had a wonderful meal at #9 last evening. I highly recommend the duck which melts in your mouth. The oysters were as fresh as if I'd dug them myself! Service was perfect and the atmosphere was romantic. We'll be back!

Sit at the bar for a delicious cocktail and a snack. Dinners for vegetarians can be crafted by the chef - they're tasty but there's better options out there

No. 9 Park is a great place to drink Pueblo Viejo Tequila.

Prune-stuffed gnocchi with foie gras (or any of the seasonal pastas).

Ana Sortun, chef of Oleana, eats here on her nights off. She loves the Prune stuffed gnocchi.

Jumping on the band wagon here but the prune stuffed gnocchi is unlike anything you'll ever eat. Get them or you'll always remember the night you could've ordered the gnocchi.

While the chef menu (which changes weekly) is amazing, one of our favorite treats is to sit at the bar and enjoy a selection off of Cat Silirie’s wine list with a couple of bar snacks!
by Sarah S.
Their cocktails are mind-blowing and their cheese plate is solid as well. One of Boston's best restaurants as well.

Classic Yankee fare is embroidered with the likes of vin santo, ras al hanout, and unagi. And the famed gnocchi are all they're cracked up to be.

When I ask serious foodies about the most famous dish in Boston, the prune-stuffed gnocchi with foie gras, toasted almonds, and vin santo at No. 9 Park is suggested by the most people.

Trust the wait staff for suggestions; very flexible. Best cheese cart I have seen outside NYC or France. More than decent wine list. Quiet, elegant space. Have to go back to the bar.

The perfect place to get a taste of Barbara Lynch's upscale, French-inspired cuisine — without spending quite so many paychecks as you will at her ultimate destination. [Eater 38 Member]

Ted is the best bartender in town, with a food a drink menu to match. Regardless of the menu, trust the servers, chef and staff with your order. You won't be disappointed.

Apparently very tough to get reservations so reserve early!! Pricey but a great date place =)

Have a rye Manhattan made with Old Olverholt, slightly sweet and served up.

Not worth the hype. Okay meal. Really bad dessert. No option to do a la carte.

i love that the waiters immediately bring you another (delicious) roll if you even hint that you'd like one. i literally had just thought to myself 'that roll was really good, i wish there were more'

Come for the tastes, not the portions. Unbelievably expensive.

Ask Ted all about Absinthe, trust me, he knows.

Best place to get a scotch and relax if you're not into the rowdy bar scene

Elegant, romantic atmosphere. Spend 2+ hours here for dinner.

Every now and then, grownups need to be romanced. They need to feel giddy, and special, and starry-eyed. And there’s no surer path to that feeling than a date at No. 9. Read on for what to order.

May be Boston's best bar. Always trust bartender's choice. And their Old Cuban—made with Roederer Brut Premier—is easily the best I've ever had.

park street cup. refreshing!
by Becky A.
The crispy farm egg and huge portion of fois gras are outstanding. Order both for a sumptuous treat.
by Toreya S.
Tell Ted what base spirit you like and what you want it to taste like (smokey, light, crisp, fruity, etc.) and wait for the magic.
by Sidney B.
The prune-stuffed, foie gras-topped gnocchi is famous for a reason, and definitely take advantage of the top-notch cheese cart and cocktail list.
by The Feast
The miso creme brulee is a revelation. Sweet, salty, savory and a touch fatty all in the same complex diagnosis. Amazing!
by Regina C.
Knowledgable bartenders who are really friendly
by conbon
It's well-known for having some of the most serious bartending in Boston. And a great place where you can relax over fine cocktails.

Ramos Gin Fizz. You should probably order a Palmyra while you are waiting.
by Blaine D.
Ask Ted (the bar manager) to make you a Boston Flip. If that goes down well follow up with an order for a "Ted's Tits" and be sure to capture the look on his face as he turns bright red.

Get the Tom & Jerry when they're serving it in December. It's only available for a few weeks, and it's served from a special cup.
