Grill 23 and Bar Reviews
Worst "high end" steak house I've ever been to. 1st bone-in ribeye comes doubly over cooked, then super under cooked. I'm on a date & at that point mgmt offers more food and I'm like why. Never again
by Stephanie A.
Devra First recommends: Crab cake, 100-day aged rib eye, Kobe cap steak, Maine lobster, mac and cheese, coconut cake (a towering slice, with moist, fragrant, almost macaroon-like layers)
Great Signature dishes! Order the 100 day aged rib eye:)
I would not be surprised if pumpkin mouse at Grill 23 is served in heaven.

The Kobe beef is probably the best steak i ever had. Forget the ribeye and try the Kobe beef! although quiet expensive it is definetely worth the price (62$)...
100 day aged steak beats any nyc steakhouse

Fantastic service. Elegant interior. Awesome! Order the 100 day aged ribeye.

I believe the cocktails here to be lethal. Get a steak - medium rare - and the truffle tots. Oh, and put your fancy pants on.

Best steak in the city, and among the best seafood. Former by a significant margin.

The chips at the bar are not to be missed.

A great steak is always a treat. Make your meal divine by pairing it with Bordeaux.

Pretty bland chowder!! Dissapointed!

The Kobe Cap steak is by far the best steak I've ever had.
by Chris J.
Steak lovers extol the rib-eye for the deep marbling and for the cap (or deckle), a lobe of muscle so succulent that it often gets saved for the last bites.
Splurge on cuts like the Kobe cap steak or the 100-day-aged rib eye, but don't overlook the Yorkshire pork rack chop with potato mustard green cannelloni & bacon brown sugar vinaigrette.
Like most steakhouses, Grill 23 is full of mahogany, martinis, and expensive suits. Unlike at most steakhouses, the food is actually worth the ridiculous prices.

I know it sounds crazy, but get the meatloaf. It is the best you will ever have!
by Heather B.
Sophia is the best sommelier in town!
by Jennifer T.
On Sundays and Mondays they have bottles of wine for $23. Sometimes they don't give you the $23 list automatically, so ask for it.

The bone-in Filet is gone! Sux

Their filet mignon (rate) was the best steak I've ever had. Simply amazing.

Tenderloin and blue cheese mashed potatoes are amazing. Skip the Mac n Cheese -- so bland!
