Zero Otto Nove Reviews
Pizza and pasta were delicious. Decor, which presumably is the work of a Broadway set designer, gives the feeling of being in Italy at night. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

This place has the chewiest pizza I've ever had. I've been to Italy and this pizza is nowhere close.
Sit in the front bar area on a hot day. No A/C or fans in the back dining area

"This is traditional pizza, the way it has been made in the Old Country for hundreds of years...You can take deep-dish pizza and throw it in the Gowanus Canal with all the other trash"

Try the Zuppa di Carcarro (butternut squash soup) ...it was the best. Squisito!

Try the Pizza Capricciosa - Brilliant. Very authentic. (via @Foodspotting)

Try -> Neapolitan wood-fired-oven pizza - Margherita (light and puffy-lipped, tender to the bite with just a hint of chew, nicely balanced, and topped with first-rate ingredients)
Pizza is amazing.

On 3/6/12, I was here to outline how NYC's restaurant grading system has been good for public health and the City's economy: http://bit.ly/yzcYW3

Some of the best pizza this city has to over. Can't go wrong with a classic like the margherita.

Basic pizza margherita is all kinds of fresh-fantastic. Ask about pasta specials, too. I had a bucatini w/zucchini and pecorino that was out of this world.
by Carolina M.
Just had the Richard pizza. Horrible. I have never had such a horribly bland pie in my life. Avoid it. Barely got down one slice. The Diablo was good.
by Tracy M.
The Diavola pie is fantastic. Slightly spicy soppressata, high quality mozz. Awesome.

Best pizza in the Bronx

Serves some of the best Pizza and Italian on Arthur Avenue. Try the La San Matteo or the Polpettine Polenta E Caprino. The service here is amazing.
