American Flatbread Burlington Hearth Reviews
If you're vegan and local, bring your unopened vegan cheese and they will make you a pie with it. Just ask nicely. :)

Try the Vermont sausage pizza!

House salad, and the TLA IPA are cant-miss items. Any flatbread is good.
by Mark P.
The place smelled amazing upon walking in. I had the meatlover's special. Full of flavor and delicious. I'm not a beer drinking but it's really cool they brew their own beers

The Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, a special the first Monday of the month, is absolutely awesome...probably the best specialty "pizza" I've ever had! Awesome local beer on tap also :)
by George L.
Very slow service. Also ask to box your own food unless you don't mind them using their bare, unwashed hands to do so. Lastly the brownie on the sundae is cold and they will not heat It.

best place for pizza in VT by far! Go for lunch if you want to avoid the wait.

All beers brewed in house on their 10 barrel system. Please get tickets to the beer dinner and feel glutinous and fabulous.

If you like sausage, theirs is amazing! If you are prone to feeling warm, ask for seating away from the brick oven.
by Jason S.
Ask for the hot sauce. It's fantastic.

Punctuated equilibrium! Try with maple sausage add-on and pair with their micro-brewed beers. Good food helps indeed.

flatbread for brunch. and bloodies.

If you go when they have the pulled pork special, it's a must. I'll need to find way to make it back to Burlington just for the great food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere
by Paul W.
The Vermont Sausage was the best! It's a sweet sausage but the olives add so much.
by Will S.
Probably my #2 favorite spot to eat when I cross the lake! I love everything about it (other than they're not in Plattsburgh lol)
New Vermont sausage pizza, china coke, Vermont apple cider, and awesome bathrooms!
It doesn't matter what the specials are, just order them. Either a 1/2 and 1/2 or one of each. You can't go wrong!
by Dave P.
Awesome beer brewed on premise by Zero Gravity Brewing.
by Dan M.
Got a seat at the bar had a new Vermont sausage (greatest "pizza" ever) got to chat with the brewer and one of the owners, great people, great place, a must stop if ur in BTV!
by Caine M.
Open Fri-Sun: 11:30 - close

Lunch is best outside in the alley-great tables and atmosphere. Goat chèvre salad and revolution pizza are a tasty combo. A small can be eaten by one hungry person.

Enjoyed the medicine man flatbread as well as the TLA IPA.

House salad with Goat cheese is a great salad. I rarely would comment on a salad.

Always try the daily special. It never fails to impress. Even if you only get it as half a pizza!

Way more than a pizza place. It is a must do in Burlington.

Favorite flat: roasted tomato salsa. Play apples to apples while you wait. you can find plenty of board games in the front room.

Wait is long even on the weekdays, but it's worth it. Definitely mastered the art of make delicious pizza
by Phil C.
Line is usually long on a Friday/Saturday night. They don't take reservations, so get there early to put your name on the list.
Trust this tip: no matter how odd the special flats sound, they will be totally delicious
Best creme brulee I have yet to find this side of the Atlantic!
by Genevieve P.
Terrible... only appetizers on the menu... awful crispy breadsticks that they make you overpay for. Lots of good beer choices if you like that sort of thing, but this place sucks overall... pass
by Jason P.
Good Mead at the bar. Chris works the bar on Saturday's, be sure to say hello.
This dumass place closes the kitchen from 2:30-5 for apparently no reason. Unfortunately had to leave to go to the Vermont Pub instead!

Best Bloody Mary in town!

The specials are usually always the way to go here! But the pepperoni is the best ever!

Sometimes you can get a quick table if you are willing to deal with a bit of heat from the open hearth oven... Getting a normal table on most nights is tough so this is an option.
by Peter R.
Go when they have their buffalo pizza on special, best pizza I've had
by Unknown Arts
Hot day? Get a Pilsner.

Amazing beers on tab - and huge bottled list. Great flatbreads. Sunday lunch is awesome! Just watch out for the wait.
by FM M.
Gluten free pizza here! One of the better options in town. Expensive and a bit on the smaller size, but worth it for the wood fired goodness!
