  • ChefMozI have been to this restaurants a few times now, and have never been disappointed. The food is phenomenal, bursting with freshness and complemented by creative sauces that enhance the taste. On this latest visit, my wife and I began with a champagne toast to mark our 34th anniversary. I had a wonderfully fresh Wellfleet Clams appetizer, Vermont Organic Lamb done three ways: loin, shoulder confit and belly (a euphemism for delicious lambs tongue), and Sour Milk Panna Cotta paired with a late harvest Gewurztraminer. The meal went very well with an Alsatian Riesling. In a gesture of ultimate faith in the restaurant, in these days of mad cow disease, I also ordered Roasted Beef Marrow with toasted Focaccia. It was delicious. The marvelous food, attentive service, and friendly neighborhood atmosphere made for an unforgettable meal.

  • ChefMozI love this place. The chef is very talented and creative, the setting relaxed and fun, and the food is wonderful. They offer a neighborhood 3 course prix fixe at $30. Wonderful, all-French wine list.

  • Dan AGet there at 5:30 and sit at the bar for one of the best burgers. (They only make a few a day, and they run out fairly quickly ...) The secret is bone marrow (a little bit cheating) and miso paste ...

    55555 by Dan A

  • Rachel hIf you want the burger you better show up early and tell someone as soon as you get in. Other wise put it in the chefs hands and get the tasting menu.

  • GQ MagazineIs it the all-hands-on-deck staff, somehow both omniscient and omnipresent? Is it the oysters with candied lemon mignonette, the best way to start a meal, maybe ever? The answer is all of the above.

  • Boston.comDehydrated miso lends a burst of umami. It goes on a housemade bun along with house-made condiments. This burger isn't on the menu, it's a verbal special in the bar area, so you've got to ask for it.
