• I went here for the first time last summer and really enjoyed it. We sat at a table right on the water and watched boats go by. Cabin atmosphere, casual yet fancy...I had the whitefish and my friend had a Ribeye. Both were awesome. I'm looking foward to going back this upcoming August! If you're in the area, you have to try it out. Nothing like you've seen before.

• I went to the Hack-Ma-Tack for dinner for the first time and was extremely impressed. The view is outstanding, with large windows overlooking a river, and on the other side beautiful trees with an area for raccoons and birds to eat. A great spot for the kids to watch the various critters. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very eclectic with many artifacts and historic objects to gander while enjoying your meal. The menu has many wonderful choices from steaks to fish and a daily special board. I enjoyed the prime rib, while my husband had the NY stip. Both excellent entrees. The Hack-Ma-Tack is a restaurant one has to see to believe. I look forward to visiting this charming historical gem once again this summer.
