The fried pickles, truffle fries and double cheeseburger are very good. The jade sour, peach emoji and pink lady are very good.

If you're into sazeracs, get theirs. 10/10 would order again.
by Matthew S.
Nice cocktails. Made a good Negroni
by Damon M
Apparently there's an upstairs that's calmer. Should probably try that, as downstairs gets louder and more bro-filled each visit.
by Bobby Kennedy

by A T

by Jeremy C.
Amazing, well cared for beverages and very friendly staff!
by Mike T
Great snacks and cocktails. Try the Reply to All or Mamie Taylor. For a quieter setting or a large group, try the speakeasy upstairs.
by Evelyn Lopez
Unnecessarily large wine/spirits list with a variety of expensive cocktail options and a decent, albeit abbreviated, beer list. Both made better by the popcorn we snacked on. LOUD environment.
by Colin R.
One of best old fashioned in Chicago. Sets the bar very high.
by Alexandr K.
Great popcorn
by Rad T

Great cocktails, but it can get loud inside (i.e. lots of bros)
by Jamie Olds
Great cocktail selections. If you're on a date, definitely put your name on the list, and make your way upstairs. Much more intimate vibe compared to downstairs.
by John K
Very crowded, however awesome hand crafted cocktails. Great bartenders!
by Rebecca Rickert
Wonderful cocktails. Go with egg white for some yummy foam. Popcorn is the best! Also head upstairs for a cool environment.
by Melissa E.

Most of the unique cocktails are worth a try. Dark and classy inside.
by Joseph Blewitt
Great place to a cocktail. Also can't pass up the flavored popcorn if you're sticking around for a while.
by Melissa E.
The cocktails are great and the upstairs atmosphere is relaxing.
by Jessica Kim
This sexy cocktail bar doesn't have much in common with British pubs, save for one all-important detail: a proper Pimm's cup ($11).
by Redeye Chicago
A sexy two-floor lounge where progressive bartenders push the envelope when it comes to fun ingredients while still respecting the classics.
by Redeye Chicago
"Simply making the many classic drinks on its enticing list as good as possible, with minimal ego." -Esquire write-up
by Sarah D.
See if you can get the upstairs big table for 6ish people. Great (but expensive) cocktails. I'd skip the food. Reservations see to be required for busy nights.
by Jeff W.

Poutine, popcorn an Hawaiian beer!:)

Good drinks and a great atmosphere, but the staff that controls who goes upstairs always seems kind of salty. Pool table upstairs is a lot of fun!

Make a meal out of small plates like the wings, slicked in a gingery soy-caramel glaze and tossed with cucumber kimchi and sip on the perfect stirred Sazerac: http://tmoutchi.us/13EV7jr
by Time Out Chicago
A tad pricey. But worth the chill atmosphere and nice drink menu. Come early before a line starts, and try the mint julep.
by Ashley
The cocktail menu is a bit intimidating (7 pages!) but it is divided by drink type with useful words like "bubbles," "stirred," or "egg."
by Jake S.
Food was okay, (not great) but the drinks were AWESOME. Stick to the drinks!
by Lucretia B.

Try the Pig Face Poutine - a combination of sweetbreads and fries, it's the richest, and the most popular dish. Served late into the night, of course.
by Renaissance Hotels
Drinking upstairs? Service can be slow so order your next round when the current one arrives!
by tankboy
Try the Mamie Taylor, which pairs Scotch with ginger beer.

See this? This may look like popcorn, but it's more than that. It tastes like ITALIAN SAUSAGE... Yeah... ITALIAN SAUSAGE. Amazing. Also, the cocktails are surreal.
