Eating For Sanity on Jan 14, 2014
Coccoli consisted of crispy, airy dough balls resting on top of prosciutto de parma, which is served along side scoops of stracchino cheese, basil oil, and all drizzled with a truffle honey. You can tell they thought of every component, making the dish absolutely INCREDIBLE.

The Wagyu Beef Meatball Sandwich was pretty damn amazing. And the gnocchi is always a good decision.
by Jen Marquez
Everything is cooked with so much butter, can’t taste anything else. Cocktails are sugar bombs, just taste like candy.
by Tariq I.
Seems a bit overpriced, but the service and food is good. Try the chopped salad.
by jiresell
One of the best in Chicago! The pepperoni pizza is insane! The mushroom truffle is delicious but the pepperoni one is omg!! Great cocktails and super friendly staff (Clint the bartender is ❤️❤️)
by Heba-I-am L
Note to self to order again...the Coccoli, Wagyu Meatball (with extra sauce for dipping), Roasted Beets, Truffle Mushroom pizza, pork chop, bomboloni with extra sauces :)
by Linda D.
The #mimosa is outstanding. Freshly squeezed orange juice with just the right amount of Prosecco. Loved the poached eggs on the avocado toast!
by maureen J
Fantastic brunch menu! The artichoke omelette is very fresh and light. The avocado toast is also a great choice! #SundayBrunch #Chicago

by Busem E.Y. M
Loud but cool feel , great service. Nice place overall
by Claudia D
Excellent food and service. Prices are well worth the quality of food. Mimosa bar is great for several to make your own mimosa. Definitely recommend.
by Tony J.
A bit of a clubby feel (loud dance music with a large hip bar), but the food is excellent. The truffle gnocchi is incredible. Must try. All pastas made on site
by Damon M
This is one of the best places I have EVER eaten at. The squid ink linguini is FANTASTIC and deliciously made with lobster. The wagyu meatball is the size of a softball and is soooo delectable. 100/10

Voted Best Celebrity Chef Brunch by Bitches Who Brunch in 2016!
by Bitches Who B.
Siena Tavern lives up to the hype. This is a a great spot for brunch in River North, and on a gorgeous summer day in Chicago, it was the perfect place to grab brunch with friends.
by Bitches Who B.
Nice place for happy hour
by David A. C.
Octopus, waygu meatball, gnocchi...done.

I recommend the wagyu meatball that's roughly the size of a baby's head.
by RichieRVA
Absolutely loved the brussels sprout pizza. Our server was excellent, the manager was very attentive and even treated us to free gelato. Lovely experience.
by Jen Marquez
Orrechiette with prosciutto sausage was fantastic. Kale Caesar not so much.

had the burnt pepperoni pizza. awesome!
by jim s.
Great bar love the atmosphere. Some of their house drinks are a bit too sweet, went with a classic dirty martini with blue cheese olives which was amazing!
by Angie O.
The lamp chops...delicious.
by Cynthia S
The burrata and one other entree is more then enough for 2 people.
by Joe D.
The scallop plate is really good, however, not very big. I made the mistake of splitting it so it's better as a one person only.
by Casey M.
The atmosphere is nice but it's very very loud.
by Hom A
Mushroom pizza
by Stephen J
The mozzarella bar is unreal
by Brandon
All of the pizzas are delicious!

Amazing eggs Benedict!

Brunch is definitely a strength. I highly recommend the breakfast skillet. Add bacon or sausage if you want some extra protein.
by Leland Brewster
The burrata is pretty good. Also the meatball for an appetizer. Ordered the carbonara, it was just ok. Maybe I'll try a pizza or something next time...
by Ninah Randolph
Very eclectic crowd. Not so much of a date type of place. The music is loud and there's lots of tvs around. Sports bar feel to this place.
by michelle jimenez

I went to Siena Tavern to celebrate my birthday on a Monday night, not busy like on a Friday. I asked for a table with a view. Was given a table near the entrance. The service was bad.

Love the truffle mushroom pizza. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in the city

With only numbers serving as names, the cocktail list at this contemporary Italian restaurant forces you to pay special attention to ingredients before making a pick.
by Chicago Tribune
Order the coccoli! You won't regret it.
by Jackie Sachs
The meatball appetizer was great. I got the short rib ravioli and my wife got the gnochi. Both were good, but the gnochi was much better. Crowded and loud though.

It's all good. Seriously can't go wrong here. Highlights for me are the coccoli the meatballs and the truffle gnocchi. There is a great back room for business lunches/presentations as well.
by Linda F.
The big plate of chicken: overcooked. The big plate of osso buco: almost overcooked. The cocktails are two sweet; one of them (the No. 4, a lightly tweaked aviation) is subtle and lovely.
by Time Out Chicago
The Brussels sprouts salad and roasted cauliflower are great for vegetarians.
by Julie F.
The pasta is awesome!!!
by Lashandra K
Don' know about calling this Italian food, but it was bar quality, foofoo food. Not bad, not great.

Get their Siena goose island draft, any homemade unique pasta you're into, and converse with the staff. Then head to sister Public House down the block for great brews.

The fogs was spectacular! You probably won't go wrong with anything you order. Also a great venue for a birthday party or small gathering, ask about the couch seating.
by Shari N.
The rustic restaurant offers brunch options like lobster hash, prosciutto frittata and truffle scrambled eggs. Those with a sweet tooth can opt for almond pancakes, or caramelized waffles.
by Eater
Vegetarians get the Wild Boar pizza sans the boar and extra butternut squash. So good!!
by Kelly B.
The food here is great, but the crowd on a Saturday night made me feel like I was at a taping of Jersey Shore. I want to come back earlier on a weeknight and see how much better the experience can be.
by Sam F.
The donuts are the BEST!!!!! All of the sauces are delish!
by Dan
Try the Kale Salad.... So delish!

❤️ The 🍕👍
by Agnes R.
Great brunch, not the best service.
by Alexandra K.
Ordered the pizza - looked very tasty. Every time I picked up a slice - all the toppings and cheese would slide-off
by Barry O.
Great food. Service was rushing us & didn't engage w/ us at all. Typical River North vibe meaning a bunch of guys w/ too much $ & testosterone looking 4 their future ex- real Chicago Housewife.
by Kristen E.
The food is very good. I highly recommend the seared scallops or any of the homemade pastas. The service was fairly subpar however.
by Kevin D.
Menu highlights: Coccoli, Kobe Meatball, Gnocchi, Squid Ink Linguini, Bomboloni
by kate F.
Best meal ever! The Coccoli dish will change your life (and pant size) forever!
by Katie L
Kobe Meatball! So yummy
by Whitney C.
Gnocchi was delicious! Brick chicken wasn't great. Portions aren't big enough to share. Excellent service. Outside and bar seating doesn't require reservation per out server. Would go back.
by Anne S.
Definitely get the coccoli for an appetizer! And the berry tart is an excellent choice for dessert. Yum!!!
by Missy C.
Absolutely delicious! I recommend the ravioli, Kobe meatball and any of the pasta!
