My taste buds had me in a mood for seafood. Fortunately, A10 doesnt disappoint when it comes to seafood offerings for my palate. I ordered a cold smoked trout that was served over whipped garlic potatoes. Wow!

  • Chicago TribuneI love everything about this Hyde Park restaurant. I love the architecturally interesting space, the smart and down-to-earth service and the creative French-Italian menu.

  • EaterThis Italian restaurant and gastropub puts on its Spring finest with whipped mascarpone, fava beans, fiddleheads, and micro herbs.

  • Bobby KennedyIgnore the surly hostess. The homemade focaccia and the octopus a la plancha were amazing.

  • Snuggle Bunny P.Great food selection along with great wine choices and staff!

  • KatherineMy boyfriend got pasta, which was amazing and very flavorful. The cod, on the other hand, was quite flavorless and overcooked. Great pizzas for an appetizer.

  • Aasil A.I'm at A10. We ordered oysters. Jacab the waiter came back and said they were out of oysters but the chef had a special stash that he is giving us for free. +10

  • Chris NatoliEntrees are overpriced and small. Some sides and "pizza" are a better order. Clientele is posh.

  • Chicago TribuneService is spot-on. Servers are well-informed, helpful in the extreme and have personality to spare.

  • Chicago TribuneChocolate lovers are served with the chocolate beignets and/or the layered chocolate carmelia, a chocolate-on-chocolate indulgence.

  • Chicago TribunePastas, all but one less than $20, make great shared plates and are substantial enough to work as a main course.

  • Ash FSBasil griddlecakes with rhubarb syrup. Seriously.

  • Time Out ChicagoThe cannoli soft-serve sundae, made with ricotta ice cream topped with sea salt caramel and crushed pistachios, and the olive oil doughnuts are a high note to end any meal

    55555 by Time Out Chicago

  • Time Out ChicagoThe bucatini carbonara looks like a small portion, but it’s seriously decadent.

  • Time Out ChicagoAs a neighborhood spot, A10 straddles the line between being interesting enough for adventurous eaters, but still has tamer choices for more traditional diners.

  • SarahCome here for brunch, not dinner (which is oversalted, and for all their seasoning, it mostly just sits on top of their food).

  • Lala L.Trust your bartender. I asked Jamel for an unsung classic cocktail, my favorite. I told him how to make it, and Rachel hears us talking, calls out the drink, instructs Jamel, and it was beautiful!
