Sandwich heaven. Apple, Brie, Arugula, & olive oil on crispy baguette clean & delicious. Macaroons & Fruit-Tart exquisite. Espresso highly gratifying. Must do. Raspberry Meringue not to miss.
by Wayne
We had the jambon et fromage crêpe, the salmon toast, and a croqué monsieur, and I recommend all of them! The latte was excellent as well.

Try the salted caramel latte with pumpkin spice macarons! 😋

Coffee was good; was able to take time (mid-morning) to catch up with a friend. Lots of hard surfaces so noisy but conversation is possible.
by Martha J
El café está increíble, tienen un atmosfera parisina encantadora. Hay opciones de desayuno saludables. Crepas de pollo y champiñones muy ricas.
by Wanderlustravelblog C
Nice coffee and very nice atmosphere, we tried the Yogurt Parfait and a Chicken and Mushroom crepe and they were good, better try the Perfect Egg Sandwich it looks Yumi and well served.

The Macarons are perfect !

Disappointing. Despite having 2 griddles right up front, the crepes are not made fresh to order. They warm up crepes made earlier in the day. Bizarre.
by Rod M
Está rico, pero no hay muchas opciones de desayuno, es más para ir por un postre.

I had the Toni Benedict which was ok. The eggs were a bit overdone for my taste but they have an awesome almond croissant.

Stopped in for lunch at Toni's today--the le boeuf sandwich is a great menu item!
by Christopher Floss
Flaky biscuits, good jam, good coffee. And they agreed to make me a soft boil egg instead the hard boiled one. Give a try!

Treat yourself to a glass of Côtes du Rhône wine (or many other great wines) for $9.00 .
by Wrigley F.
Authentic French food and pastries. Truly authentic, meaning the bread can be a bit tough for my liking. Upscale atmosphere and a little sidewalk seating.
by Colin Morris
Toni Patisserie & Café has a French Cuban Sandwich Panini in the Loop, when Cubans are in town looking for comfort food.

The croque monsieur is a delicious way to take a midday break. And the salted caramel tart is dangerously good.

Delicious pastries! This is a great place to get a coffee and bite to eat near Millennium Park.
by Jeffrey Moseley
The macarons here are a MUST! Incredible pastry, incredible staff. I suggest coming early before they sell out of the pain au chocolat!
by Rachael Dahl
I was visiting Chicago. I went there for a Wednesday afternoon pick-me-up. Their black coffee was the best I had. Bold & smooth. (Most coffee shops had bitter drip coffees.) Also, refills are free!

The macarons are to die for!

Happened up on this place as I was "playing tourist" on a day off. Best surprise of the day. Loved my le boeuf sandwich and such a fun atmosphere.
by Melissa E.
#softboiledeggs and they were delicious. Part of any French induction program. <3

This place is totally overrated. Croque monsieur is okay, but the macarons are LOUSY and their service is real slow. However, the owner is SO nice and the location is convenient. I'll give them that.

This cafe features a range of baguette sandwiches, along with salads and decadent French pastries.
by Serious Eats
The almond macaron is exceptional with a clear nutty flavor though the filling is on the tough side.
by Serious Eats
Le Breton: a ham sandwich with salted butter and cornichons. That's it. But thanks to the baguette that is at once soft and crackly, the those three ingredients are all you really need.

feels like France - Croque Monsieur is TDF
by Nicole W.
Fabulous hot chocolate! The quiche and salad were just ok, but the pastries looked scrumptious.
by Ang F.
The iced mocha was WONDERFUL. Also get the eclaire, it was heavenly!!

OMG! Amazing. The pan bagnat is not traditionally prepared, the flavored are right and it is delicious!

Service can be slow as molasses in January, but the food is to die for.
by Emily T.
The quiche lorraine was rich and delicious. It was perfectly paired with a fresh spring mix salad dressed with good olive oil & sea salt.
by Tracy S.
You have to try a sandiwch! Baguettes may be layered with ham or with tuna and capers or with house-made pate, ham, sriracha mayo plus pickled carrot and daikon for a take on Vietnamese banh mi.
by Chicago Tribune
Try their key lime pie tart and red velvet cupcake. To die for!

Raspberry meringue is titty city!

If you find the baby trinket in your slice of King Cake from this bakery, you get good fortune for the next year. If you don’t, you get…a piece of cake without a tiny plastic baby in it.
by Time Out Chicago
The pastry case is full of all manner of European-style cakes, tarts and breakfast pastries. An almond Danish and cappuccino is a distinguished beginning to any day; a pan bagnat is an elegant middle.
by Time Out Chicago
Nicoise salad is da bomb. Perfect healthy, fresh, fast lunch dwntwn.

Try the almond Danish from our 100 Best list: This marble-replete space is a fine room in which to drink a cappuccino and enjoy a danish.

The le boeuf sandwich is big enough for two meals, says Penny Pollack and the salade méditerranéenne with buttermilk-dill dressing has a lot going for it.

Try the salade Niçoise ($10.75), whose zesty Dijon vinaigrette enlivens caper-studded tuna salad, crisp haricots verts and more.

Just had the sickest grilled cheese. Ask for cheese on top!
by Katie C.
Best fruit tarts I've had, no competition. You can see pretty little vanilla bean flecks!
by Jasmine C.
In addition to breads, cakes and a stand-up coffee car that slings Metropolis-brewed cups, the joint also offers soup and banh mi sandwiches for patrons stopping by during lunch.
by AskMen
The tartine was good, but I was surprised it was served on a rustic bread. Most I've had before were served on a flaky, buttery bread pastry. It was still good. The meringue tart was wonderful!
by Jamie W.
Must try the Quiche Loraine and the Biscuit de Jambon...great little place.
