A FABULOUS DINING EXPERIENCE FOR THE UN & ACCUSTOMED TO THAI FOOD. BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS AND EXCELLENT FOOD. HELPFUL STAFF. DINING IN AND CARRY OUT ARE A TREAT. ENJOY BOTH IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA

One of the few places open on Christmas Night (so be nice and leave a tip). Great Staff & consistently delicious food.

You can get a pork chop without the bone - you just have to ask. It's better on the bone though. Everything comes with fries including the fries. Order one and you'll get two.

A nicely caramelized bone-in pork chop is topped with sautéed onions and sharp mustard here. Plus, it doesn't matter if the game goes into extra innings, this stand is open 24 hours a day.

This restaurant is pretty bad. Good taste barely OK, and service is very slow, even though the restaurant is half empty.

Large portions... Great food! The staff is very friendly.

Loved it...

Don't wear a skirt! You may have to crawl into on of these awesome seats!

My favorite is #5, but with tofu instead of chicken. The shrimp shumai rocks too!

Wonderful outdoor seating area!

If you leave hungry you're wrong

Their pad Thai was mediocre, so was the Thai ice tea.

Making a good choice is easy because there are only four things on the menu. Each sandwich is made-to-order, generously topped with standard trimmings such as raw onions and mustard.

Been coming here for over 10 yrs, always great!
by Kavitha S.
Food was decent. Wouldn't recommend the salad rolls if you don't like sweet plum sauce but the red chicken curry was nice and spicy!

Bacardi and diets are always ridiculously strong and the pad Thai is pretty darn delicious

Ordered a Singha beer expecting something comparable to Sapporo, and was pleasantly surprised to get something with an unexpected hoppy kick

Best service we've ever had at any restaraunt.

Take your date here. You'll get laid that evening. Expect to spend a pretty penny for liquor though.

Get the squid salad.

Always order a side of peanut sauce.

Try the Lard Nar...it's delicious

I like it here. But I can see how some people would think it's too sweet. I like the menu and the wait staff.

The Thai iced tea is awesone!

No ketchup, jerks.

Ask for Thai iced tea or for a cold Chang beer to drink!
by Igor L.
My favorite is #5. And the rice here is amazing!
by Siobhan C.
The Rama Chicken is amazing!
by Max K.
A south side tradition. Get a chop with everything (look out, the bone stays in) they throw you free fries. Add a Diet Rite and you're gold. More fries? $1. Place is so cheap you'd think its the USSR.
by Dieter K.
They have a fruit cup that's not on the menu. It's delicious.
by Miles B.
My favorite Dao go to is the yellow curry with vegetables and brown rice. Always delicious!

The red curry chicken is to die for!
by Nathan D.
Dao has some of the best pad thai I've had in Chicago...you need to try it!
by Christopher H.
Try the Kang Kheaw Wan Nue- Green Curry Beef. Super spicy, but AMAZING!
by Jeff B.
Brown rice is the whip!
by Shane D.
Everything comes with fries. Add your own ketchup and salt at the counter. The polish sausage is highly recommended. Be careful with the porkchop sandwiches, they still have the bone left inside.
