Good place for intimate meal at not too high a tab. We had 5 at our table and got away under $180. No one ordered the 2lb lobster tail at $89.95!! No wine wiht dinner either, but a couple of mixed drinks. Highly recommend. Great food!
by escoiffer611
I was over-charged on the tab by almost $50 on what should have been a $200 tab. I suspect that I was charged for dinners ordered by a second table. Please call to rectify this. Robert Ten Eick at 847-256-4177.

Eclectic restaurant. Good service. Red sauce is nice but is cream and cheese based, giving it a pinkish appearance. Pappardelle is quite good. Italian sausage was good. calamari has a broiled option.

The key word here is "fresh." Everything from the pasta to the meatballs to the bread tastes like it was just made.

The eggs Benedict was cold and lacking flavor, thick cut applewood bacon was grocery store, and baby potatoes were dry and also extremely lacking in flavor...bland.

Do NOT get the Alfredo (of any kind...meats don't help) you'd do better making your own with Ragu.

my all-time favorite restaurant in the Loop... great for lunch or dinner. always impeccable food and service!
by Christopher B.
Go for the $5 burgers on weekdays until 3pm. The service is how you would expect this place to act if they are only charging $5. But the burger is good, so don't worry about the nonexistent waitress.
