• We have been twice to Athena when visiting Chicago. The restaurant is not as noisy as the `Greek Islands`. Food has been excellent each time. The waiters know the food and make excellent recommendations. Their Calamari is some of the largest and best quality (cooked to remain tender). As with most of the restaurants we have gone to in Greektown, portions are large and a great value.

• We went to this restaurant at the advice of some patrons outside of Rodity's next door. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere, service, value, and portions were very generous. • We went on a Saturday night when other places had a 1/2 hour wait. Saganaki was very thin and sitting in a puddle of oil. Chicken kabobs were lacking flavor but cooked perfect. Service was great.

• TERRIBLE SERVICE. Go here only if you want to be ignored and not eat. We sat for 25 minutes watching waiters pretend not to see us before we finally walked out. Go down the street to Pegasus instead.

• Make sure to eat here on a weekday as the lunch menu is cheap but there is a good portion of food. Also, if you get there on a weekday, make sure to get the stuffed chicken with feta and spinach!

• The pork loin chops are large, wonderfully presented, and delicious. The location is great for a business lunch downtown with free valet, excellent service, and wonderful presentation of entrees.
