Very hearty meal. Coffee is good, pancakes is good, eggs are good and even their chicken noodle soup is good. Come early for breakfast.

Awesome good. Great atmosphere.
by Mario A.
Substandard food, I feel like they just capitalize on the overflow/less open minded customers who don't want the wait, diversity of Sweet Maple.

Great for breakfast. Not the greatest for lunch.
by Dena F.
Good food, tight space. Spanish Harlem: spread pico around; it's what makes the dish. Giant plates + small tables = awkward geometry. Tightly spaced tables: I've seen urinals with more elbow room.

House potatoes are nice!!! Waffles nicer!!!!
by Kush S.
Braise beef is Delicious!
by Noemi E.
The Taylor Street fritata is absolutely where it's at!!
by Jennifer H.
House potatoes AND a side of mini goodness(pancakes or waffles) with an omelette? yes, please! Coffee is great with a chocolate croissant! Tables are a little small, but great place nonetheless.
by Stephanie I.
The Taylor St frittata was a bit salty for my taste. Prosciutto does make it salty, but was prepared with more salt.
by Ross G.
the food was actually great. sit in the bar and look the kitchen action it is clean and entertain see the cook doing their job.
by Reginal B.
Try the pancakes, delish! Nice, small, intimate brunch spot, a personal favorite.

Pancakes!! Mamma miaaaaa
by Giric G.
Somewhat posh but super friendly, the wait staff will let you sit & use their free Wi-Fi with as little as an order of coffee. But beware, the AT&T Wi-Fi is spotty. Wifi password: greatpancake

Best oatmeal I've ever had! I eat a lot of oatmeal. Get it with berries instead of apples of you like.

Tweet worthy bathrooms - great food and great customer service family friendly too .

Do not ask for sugar free syrup and do not ask for hot/warm syrup.....you will be disappointed by answers to both questions.

THE PARMA PROSCIUTTO 13.00atop griddled polenta cakes, hollandaise and parmesancheese!!! :)
by Martini M.
Get the Spanish Harlem Omelet, you won't be disappointed.
by Marco M.
I LOVE the Spanish Harlem omelette! So delish! Also love that you can get mini pancakes or mini waffles instead of toast and get the best of savory and sweet in your brunch!
by Olivia D.
The best pancakes! Don't even bother looking at the omelette menu. My BF recommends the choc chip bacon pancakes.

"look honey they have a $14 omelet. I've never had a $14 omelet." this is what I heard a woman say to her husband as they passed by and read the sign. Stax, your menu is overpriced for this area/city!
by Kim B.
Great Brunch try the Stax Chopped Salad
by Ron M.
Great breakfast potatoes. Sit at the breakfast bar to see all the action. Spiro is a great host.
by Stephanie M.
Not Reccomended. Very slow to get mediocre food for way to much money. Waitress never came ba k to azk how things were. Eggs overcooked. Potatoes undercooked. Bad experience all around.
by Bob O.
The mixed berry crepes are delicious.
by Shannon H.
I cannot get over how great this place is. BLT, Brisket Hash, and the benedict w/ polenta are unreal. Kind owners and staff.
