Aldo's Restaurant Reviews

  • Aldo, the owner, is a real sweetheart. If you have a chance, say hello to him, as he is usually there. Being a family owned place, its small but the food there makes it completely worthwhile. There are about 20 tables, MAX (they are small tables) so they are a bit close together and the colors/decor are a bit outdated but that means nothing when it comes to dinner! The best dish there in my opinion is the peppers appitizer. Mouthwatering sausage stuffed peppers come out to your table with fresh bread and lots of dipping sauce. My husband and I go there just for that and salads. Dinner courses are very excellent also, Aldo's offers MANY specials everyday (they are always changing) The lasagna is good, so is the spagetti, of course. ANY seafood is perfect, always fresh and tasty! As for dessert, if you go at a good time you will find MANY desserts, all the gelatos are delish and the tirumisu is creamy and dedacant. Sometimes they have a "special" dessert also and its always a big hit with us!Overall Aldos may be priceier then your local Applebees, but the food and enviroment make it all worthwhile!!!Oh and get the SANGRIA!YUM!

  • Aldo's is a hidden gem. You could drive by it a thousand times (like I did) and not know it was there, tucked away in a tiny strip mall-ette at Roadoan and Memphis. If you love authentic Italian food--and I MEAN authentic, please go please go today. Tiny restaurant, tables close (which I don't like), but the food makes it so worthwhile. Everything there I have ever tried measures up to every Italian restaurant in town at this price point.
