• Went to the Republic of Texas on a quiet weeknight. Food was excellent. I had the venison, wich was very good, but tasted my date's steak, and wished I had the steak instead. Had a view of the Lexington ( aircraft carrier, now a museum, illuminated by blue spotlights in honor of it's nickname, The Blue Ghost) The meal was finished off with bananas foster,... blue flames ladled over the dessert, with the Blue Ghost in the background! What an outstanding presentation this made!!!
