Slows Bar-B-Que Reviews
Beef Brisket and waffle fries were really good. Didn't care much for the Mac n cheese. Lots of beer options! Reasonably priced. Definitely want to come back.
by Alex J.
If its on tap, get a Hopslam.
by Alex V.
Just eat everything. Side: green beans
by Jared C.
How can a bbq joint not have ice tea??? Fail
by Clay I.
One of the best restaurants in Detroit. 2 entrees feed 3 people - pulled pork and brisket should be on your list. Same with mac n cheese and cornbread. Killer local draft selection too.
by Varun S.
Try the Mac and Cheese - Umm amazing mac and cheese! (via @Foodspotting)

Eggs & Kegs was poorly organized. Started at 1:00 and an hour later the food was not ready. No propane for the deep fryer, couldn't find an outlet for the waffle maker, very little seating.
by Monkey R.
Amazing! Triple Threat and Charles salad are sure to please!
by Bethany S.
Baby back ribs are awesome!
by L L.
Good food, good people and a great city: Slow's has it all, and then some. [Eater 38 Member]

by Huberto A.
Don't order the gumbo or jambalaya...DISGUSTING!
by Eunice M.
There's a reason everyone leaves with boxes. One entree (including two giant sides) is likely more than enough for two.

Mac n cheese and brisket is good, wings are better. Not good enough to turn on the Ambassador Bridge to get some. I'm just sayin'...

by Whitney H.
The draft list here is awesome! I've tried the pulled pork and the 1/2 chicken and both were amazing! The best sides have to be the mac n cheese and the mashed sweet potatoes.
by Lauren S.

by Heather E.
Can't get. A table if ur life depended on. It

The pulled pork sandwich (called "The Reason" here) has big chunks of tender meat. I couldn't find one sauce that I really loved, so be sure to test them all before sandwich use.

Try "The Reason" Sandwich!
Hour wait at 5:30 on Sunday, no reservations <6 people, quite loud, youngish crowd, beautiful bathrooms. Mac n' cheese, Special Purpose, Rounder, and ribs recommended.
Disappointment to hear they only have the Orange Pop Sauce seasonally:( but to-go location apparently might have some!
by Brad S.
Been here quite a few times. Today may be my last visit. Ribs were dry and not great. Brisket was a bit bland. Sides were awesome as usual. Very disappointed today.

It's ok. Not southern bbq. But ok. I do admit I enjoyed the coleslaw. It's not the typical Yankee sweet concoction they call coleslaw.
by Brenda L.
Long wait in line? Grab that buzzer thingy and have a coffee @ Astro or a drink @ Sugarhouse. That thing reaches all the way down the block. Just be sure to book it once it's your turn or you lose it.
