Pegasus Taverna Reviews
5 of us went to Pegasus, including my sister and her disabled husband who are from Canada. We were treated so poorly, that we were eventually forced to leave, without ever getting a drink, meal, etc. The staff refused to help my sister park her husband's electric scooter, instead felt quite justified screaming at her that they had no space for this, even though we made it abundantly clear that this was the situation when we arrived and needed some help to store the unit.
Pegasus has been at this location for over 100 years now. Luckily the decor is not that old and the interior is quite nice. Clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. Food includes Greek staples such as Gyros, flaming cheese, souvlaki, etc. Prices are moderate.
Worst filet mignon and shrimp. So not worth $25. Waste of $$$.

Pegasus Tavernas has been a Greektown staple for almost 25 years. For hearty Hellenic food outside of a Coney Island, Pegasus is your best bet in metro Detroit. [Eater 38 Member]

Don't try the combination plate if you are a first timer; it's too much to handle as far as taste is concerned. Kinda nasty:-(

Ask for a Michigan made beer. When they tell you they don't carry tell them there are 100 breweries in Michigan they have no excuse. Then order water.
