  • ChefMozI am not from Utah and happened on this place by accident, as I have clients in the building across the street. What a find! This is a place you'd expect to happen upon in Napa valley or some other "food destination", not necessarily in Draper, Utah. From the homemade chocolates and nut-studded French nougat to the best tomato soup (ever!) and delicious sandwiches, EVERYTHING is absolutely delicious. The cakes, pastries and brownies are divine, and I always take some peanut butter and caramel brownies back home with me. This unique place is truly a treasure, underscored by the fact that you have to drive past a thousand chain restaurants on the way.

  • ChefMozNot only is the food great (prepared fresh, with the best ingredients and with the chef's own tested recipies) but the owners of this small restaurant are great. This is the American Dream story - the Mom and Pop couple running their own business and helping to make their community unique - not a place where your only choices are McDonald's, TGI Fridays and Subway's. This young couple also does catering with a host of delicious options. They are involved in the community and support charitable causes as much as they are able.

  • ChefMozIf you are looking for a delicious meal in a relaxing atmosphere you HAVE to visit Food for Thought. From the street this is just a small home with a gravel parking lot on the side. As you look in the windows you notice all of the little knick-knacks that they offer on the retail end of their store. Inside this really is a small historic home that has been transformed into a small (maybe 10-15 tables) cafe. They are only open for lunch and serve a variety of salads( try the Pasadena Blue) sandwiches, soups, quiche and desserts. This is the type of place that you can't go wrong no matter what you order. Everything is wonderful. During the winter you need to try their homemade hot chocolate, it take a few minutes to get your table, but remember they are making it fresh for you. I have been there many many times and never have had a bad experience. The service is nothing like going to Chili's, it sometimes slow, but don't rush, you will be glad that you just go with the flow.
