Definitely go for the poached eggs!

The best black pudding I have had in ages!
by Katie A
Amazing breakfast spot & great coffee.
by Fatima Al Hashimi
Awful, underseasoned (no seasoning at all) food. Very overpriced for Edinburgh - £6 for a bowl of porridge. Chorizo and mushroom dish was so dry that it was almost inedible - crying out for yoghurt.
by Rob G
Very nice breakfast..the chorizo-mushrooms egg breaky is amazing.the akai smoothly delicious as well
by Noemi J
They have more tables at the back. Staff here are very friendly and provide excellent hospitality.
by DJustin A
This place was rated as number one for eggs...so eggs benedict..to be honest not really good, too much mayo in the sauce. The place itself is nice and cosy, staff are good.
by Anastasia C
When you go to a breakfast joint with 9.1 points and pay £9 for a Benetict, you'd expext a runny yolk...

Easily vegan up the posh beans on giant yummy granary bread - add avocado, spinach and vege haggis for extra fun. Superb!

In love with the turmeric milk smoothie so much I had it for breakfast and later in the afternoon again!❤

Es schmeckt alles toll und es gibt ein super Angebot an Essen. Unbedingt reservieren, sonst wartet man bis zu 1 Stunde. Es lohnt sich

Lovely food - get in early for a table. Crowded for good reason!!
by Stephen P
French toast and chorizo+mushrooms were delicious. The Recovery smoothie was a bit too peanut buttery for my taste.
by Søren Louv
Slightly disappointed the last time we visited. None of our poached eggs were done right, the yolk was not runny at the slightest. The rest was still delicious.
by Petros E
Exchellent breakfast nice coffee good prices
by Giorgos S
It gets so crowded during the lunchtime, but the waiting (15mins) paid off completely. Delicious hummus and a mushroom risotto - bravo.
by Karolina f
Fantastic breakfast spot. Perfect poached eggs - water-free whites and runny yolks - are often hard to get right, so to have four done to perfection at the same time deserves all the business.
by Chaffro K
Good enough price and food
by Oytun E
The best place for breakfast in Edinburgh! Everything is so good especially the smoothies.
by Shauna O

Dismissive and rude staff.

Definitely worth the wait! Get the eggs benedict with bacon and "the recovery" smoothie and you won't regret it! Put avocado on all the things!
by Mike R.
Great spot for breakfast and brunch!
by Zosia S
The breakfast smoothie was great! In fact, all the food is superb. The salmon and raw noodles were delicious and I have it on top authority from the girlfriend that the porridge was good!

Much bigger than it looks from the outside, but still VERY popular. It's worth the wait though. Excellent coffee from Caravan, and the food clearly uses the best produce.

Ideal place to start the day in Edinburgh: proper coffee, healthy breakfast with organic muesli and delicious carrot cake.
by Veronika T
Packed' but nice.

The definite place for brunch in Edinburgh! Can get quite crowded, so be prepared for some wait, but it's definitely worth it! Try the eggs benedict or the french toast with bacon and maple syrup!
by Petros E
Super good Benedict eggs with spinach or salmon and juices are amazing!
by Lassla M
Amazing chai tea; one pot for £2.7 was able to provide me with four cups of amazing, spicy tea. And there's free WiFi and a lovely interior design. Cake is a little pricey...

Очень хорошее место для завтрака в New Town. Яйца "Бенедикт" действительно хороши, как многие отмечают в подсказках. Правильный flat white
by Denis Akhapkin
Absolutely amazing. Come here every time I visit, coffee is always spot on as is poached eggs and service. Everything is good. It would be selfish for me to not recommend this place.

Very good spot for a breakfast or a brunch. French toast and poached eggs are great. The portions for coffees are small though...
by Cenk C
Stopped by for a quick gluten-free brownie which was approximately the size of my head. Delicious, too. Paired with a flat white it was a lovely wee afternoon snack.
by Halsted B.
Brunch hotspot in Edinburgh. Very popular, so it may take a while to find a seat, especially during the weekends, but food is delicious, thus it's worth the wait.
by Elizabeth P

Impressed that they stock gluten free toast
by Ian A
Popular with snooty London folk, but food was lovely and service good. Try the eggs benedict or french toast! Flat white coffee was perfect too. You can't book so be prepared to wait.. worth it though
by Karla M
Overpriced and full of hooty people. Staff are a but prickly too.
by Mei-lin H
Beautifully cooked lamb with basil mash
