Front Porch Coffee & Tea Co Reviews
Wonderful breakfasts - hashbrowns cooked on both sides! Chicken wild rice and creamy tomato basil soups are a must to try when available. Their broasted chicken is the best I've ever tasted. Very friendly, efficient staff. In the evening the pub is a nice change from noisy bars. Great beer, wine and liquor selections. The new owners have brought Vertin's back to life!
I don't know how good the other food is at this restaurant, but don't order Mexican. This wasn't only one of the worst Mexican meals I've had, it was one of the worst meals period. Dried out, tasteless, rubbery.
Vertin's has been a landmark in Ely for many years and is still a hangout for locals wanting a cup of coffee and the latest gossip. If you're looking for a diner atmosphere, this is your place. Vertin's offers breakfast all day, a good thing. Don't bother with dinner, though. The meat is overdone, the vegetables soggy, the wild rice side is tasteless.Come early in the day for their famous homemade caramel rolls. They're unbeatable!

Good coffee but overpriced! Specialty coffees start at $4.25 (12oz) which is more than Caribou or Dunn Bros. $4.50 for a slice of quiche. Ouch! Not the way to keep bringing tourists back.

Working at the Northern Tier Base- I'm a constant customer loving the high speed internet- and always enjoying a frappe with it! Keep up the good work and the awesome atmosphere (including the AC)!

Really impressed with their menu selection. Awesome speciality coffee drinks and plenty of outdoor seating.
The sculpture for winter festival is coming along nicely!

Mushroom quiche was amazing. If I lived here, I'd be addicted.

Best coffee shop in town. People come from all over to enjoy a cup or tea or coffee here.
