Le Peep Reviews
On Saturday, 2/5/2011, I went into the restaurant and begin placing my order to go, and the hispanic woman at the cash register told me they were closed, and that they close at 2:30pm. I indicated to her that when I walked into the restaurant the time was 2:23pm, which means they were open for business. After she was done telling me there business hours and rules, she allowed me to place an order. I thought for a moment, Wow, is it that serious to be so rude to a customer? I then asked to speak with a Manager. And to make matters worst, she stated she was the Manager. FYI, there is a tiny sign on the front door indicating business hours, but no sign at the register, plus the door was totally unlocked! This Manager needs to get some real training and a better attitude! Also, once I got my food, it was totally thrown together and very messy! McDonalds would have treated me better than that. Le Peep, you should avoid treating customers like garbage! We pay the bill that keeps those doors open, not you!

Excellent spot for breakfast. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and although it was packed, we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. Definitely a new favorite spot.

The best thing about Le Peep is that Dixie Kitchen is next door where the breakfast is much better.

The men's urinal is way too high. I'm 6' tall and that thing is still eerily close to my business.

Place.Is.Awful!Even if I was to compare this to some run down diner in a state like Utah off of a desalinate highway, this place still is rock bottom for diners! Spare urself the trip to the bathroom
The Migas and their pico de gallo were delicious.

If you're going to attempt the breakfast burrito (which is HUMONGOUS), try it with either chorizo or sausage.

Flavored coffee of the day is legit, Sunday's usually butter pecan which is the best. Best breakfast food and atmosphere in Evanston.

Get your potatoes done extra crispy, it's so yummy!
by Madeline S.
My favorite place in all of Evanston to get breakfast. It's very diner-feeling food, and the staff always seem happy. Go early on Sunday to miss the crowd.

Monte Cristo crepe is awesome.

The Wanderer skillet is HUGE and tasty!

Food is OK.

Decently priced breakfast, filling, Lumberjack was OK, nothing outstanding.
by Richard H.
Substandard. Bacon is not fresh. Food comes out fast, but steak and eggs both undercooked (perhaps that's why)
Best drip coffee in town!
by Cole G.
Some of the best pancakes I've ever had & the peasant potatoes are delish! The servers are nice, parking is plentiful (meters & lot) & the window seats are the best. Look for coupons at valpak.com
