  • ChefMozWe visit Del's about once a month and I have yet to be anything less than impressed. The steaks are fantastic, melt-in-your-mouth delicious (I usually get the filet, medium), and the fish selections are also nice. They always have great and interesting specials, especially for seafood fans. For an appetizer, I highly recommend the shrimp remoulade, and their bread is great as well. Family style sides are also delicious (I recommend any of the potato dishes or the corn), and desserts are to die for.Good bar service with knowledgeable bar staff that can produce most any mixed drink. Note: Martinis are quite generous! Wait staff is always quite pleasant and I've never had any smoke issues, sitting both downstairs and upstairs. Upon visiting the restroom, you'll return to a crumb-free table and neatly folded napkins. Pricey but worth it for a truly memorable, decadent evening.

  • ChefMozMy 2nd experience was more than 5 years ago on my 29th birthday, just 2 weeks before delivering my daughter. My husband refused to allow me to indulge in seafood for the entire pregnancy so I got him back by ordering it for my dinner. We began with the shrimp appetizer platter - love the remoulade dressing! Continued with the house salad and avocado ranch. Loved the huge strips of bacon! I had the lobster and hubby had the filet tips with angel hair pasta. We also ordered sides of sauteed mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. We finished off the meal with dessert - I'm melting just thinking about it. The cheesecake was my choice. Wonderful! It just melts. My husband had the Jack Daniels bread pudding. The bill for my lobster alone was more than than the rest of the meal combined, but it was so incredibly worth it. My baby was born 2 weeks later with the biggest smile! Can't wait to have a date night there again. The food was great, the service was impeccable (helps to be a beached whale about to blow!), and I love the ambiance and decor. Subsequent visits have neglected to disappoint.

  • ChefMozSteak was so-so. A bit on the tough and dry side--flavorless. The baked potato was overdone. Also, the staff was snotty; especially the bartender.

  • ChefMozI enjoyed my first experience here, and will be returning as often as my schedule will allow. It was our waiter's first day, but he provided excellent service nonetheless, and the bartender was great. It is disheartening to hear ChefDJ's experience was so poor, but I am definitely on the other end of the spectrum on this one...

  • ChefMozWhile many people will enjoy this expensive restaurant that caters to expensive people, I did not. The aroma of cigars was bad enough to spoil my appetite and the brash waitress finished it off. I had heard so many "great" things about Del Frisco's that it was a wonderful surprise when my husband announced that he was taking me there to celebrate my birthday. Our reservations were for 8pm. We were seated about 8:20 in the smoking section (we are non-smokers and were not asked a preference when the reservation was made). Our waitress was pushy and abrupt; and allowed my husband's tea glass to run dry and then took over 15 minutes to return with the picher (we did see her wait on others and return with their food long before we saw her back at our table). My steak was ok; my husband's was not, but we felt it best to shut up, eat and leave.I am sad to report that I doubt I will ever eat here again or give my recommendation to eat here.

  • Their steaks and staff are top notch. The only place that can make a steak taste and look better than you can grill yourself. Everyone else gets it wrong. I have never had a bad meal here.

  • The BEST place to eat steak. Best. Incredible sides, wine-list, and service. If you've never been here, you are missing out.

  • Don't forget Del's Delite for dessert; it's a milkshake & after dinner drink in a single martini glass!
