• I have visited the restaurant on several occasions and love it. The service was excellent. The food was great! I have heard that the banquet facility is wonderful. I have heard that they are under new management and a new Head chef also. Excited to see what comes of the change.

• I visted Boatwerks last Saturday, July 28.I received unacceptable level of customer service from all employees.By going to the restaurant at the busiest time of the day, I had to wait 40 minutes just to get seated.I have no problem with waiting if it is busy.However, after we were seated, no one came to serve us for 15 minutes.We let one of the waitresses know that there was no one serving us.The waitress brought water for us, and told us that "Heather" will be with us soon.We waited another 5 minutes, and no one still came for us.So we let the receptionist know that we do not have a server, and yet another 10 minutes, no one came for us.For whole almost 40 minutes after we were seated, we were starving and no one came to serve us.It is extremely unacceptable level of service.I don't know what happened to the server who were supposed to be with us.But if something happened to her that prevented her from serving us, it is manager's responsibility to check on the status of every server, and have a substitute.I am very disappointed and I'll certainly never visit the place again.

• I went to Boatwerks and had a great meal (whitefish) and great service (thanks, Cassie). The inside of the restaurant is decorated in a classy, modern style, that is still reminiscent of the good 'ole days of summering on Lake Mac. Would I go back? You betcha!
