My favorite place to enjoy a meal on Waikiki. Only tried the morning brunch, not the evening prime rib and pasta...but did go back another morning on our vacation to enjoy the brunch again! The front windows are open to the ocean so you hear the waves from outside, wonderful open seating, buffet area is a bit crowded but it's so good you don't care! Waitstaff is wonderful! Also the best mixture of Hawaiian music I heard on the island!

What's better than cooking your own steaks while drinking and enjoying the ocean overlook?
by Chris C.
It's great if you don't mind smelling like a walking barbecue..
by Amanda Cajano
The view: spectacular. Shorebird dinner - grilling your own food - is unique but don't bring chef friends here (they don't want to cook!). Sunday afternoon buffet looks ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING though.
by Derek K.
Very limited menu. Very good beach view.
by Larry J

Not a bad place but a bit pricy for quality. Great ocean views. Burger was tasty
by Chris P.
HORRIBLE experience. Rotten service, very smokey, very hot if seated near the grill. It took 25 minutes to get a cocktail, which was watery because the ice melted. Left w/o ordering after 40 minutes.

Great happy hour specials but dinner menu seemed high priced given you have to cook your own food
by Sarah F
I had a few Mai tais during happy hour, and it was great to be beachfront listening to the waves hit the shore. They also have karaoke at night. People go a little wild. Maybe should you.
by Md Wong
Excellent place to people watch. Right on the beach. Get the buffet and cook your own steak will you look up to Diamondhead.

DInner is a little different. It is BBQ style and you must grill your own entree. Needless to say it's very hot and smokey.
by Omar Verduzco
You cook your own entree... Fun atmosphere... Beautiful view right on the beach!!!
by Chris Calderon
Still the best place on the island. For what you ask? Yes!
by Paul F.

Late night draft beers $3.50. I don't recommend the soft pretzels. Sit near the beach for a less noise to enjoy your company
by Michelle M T.
Be warned, Karaoke starts at 9:30 on Thursdays and possible other days.

Best restaurant in all Hawaii. Come hungry and make a reservation.
by Lani D
I agree it's a little annoying that u have to grill ur own food, but the plus side is I got to trim the skin and fat off my chicken and the fat off my husband's steak.... Turned out pretty tasty.
by Julia P.
$3.50 happy hour everyday for Mai Tai's & Coors Light. Very very strong Mai Tai's. Wonderful view of the beach from the bar. Bar staff are very nice.

Cool your own food on the grill. Tip: Choose your grill station carefully, depending on the direction of the wind some are comfortable, some not. Eat your food overlooking the ocean. Life is sweet...

The Mai tie here is like drinking a fruit punch and the lava flow is like drinking a virgin piña colada. Don't bother wasting your time or money. The service suck too. We are out.

Ahi tuna wrap is really good! You get plenty of fish, and the wasabi slaw isn't too mayo-y.

Tip for grilling your steak: just before you are about to take your steak off the grill, slap some butter on each side and cook them for about 30 more seconds after.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here at sunset on Saturday evening. Make sure you check with the chef about cook times for your steaks & where the hot spots are on the grill. BOGO 1/2 off in This Week Oahu!

Not sure where some of these folks ate but our meal was quite good. Part of the fun is seasoning and grilling your own food. Try the potato salad and the papaya seed dressing. Quite good!!

The salad bar alone is excellent, but the steak are amazing and the fact you can cook them yourselves make it pretty cool! Great location on the beach as well.
