• This restaurant falls below the standards reached by other Ryan's we have frequented all across the South. Numerous dishes are inferior to those served at other Ryan's. Cases in point: This is a south Louisiana restuarant, but the vegetables are not seasoned properly and are often bland. The fried whole catfish are often the most emaciated catfish with little to no meat, over fried. Everything seems to be over cooked, especially the shrimp. It has become shrimp jerky.
  
  The food served deserves maybe a star less but the people there, are good people. They work hard to try to help. But the food quality needs to improve here.
