  • amya reviewTaj of India has a large menu with an excellent selection. It is probably the best Indian food I've ever had, and certainly the best in Indy. I take out food from Taj at least once a week, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and clean. The people there are also very kind and helpful. If you haven't been there, you're missing out!

  • gmiester reviewI thought this restaurant was fabulous. Considering this place is in a strip mall, the ambience is fantastic. The service was flawless, and the waiter was ready to help us with our food choices since neither of us had ever eaten in an Indian restaurant before. He was also very kind to my infant daughter, even when she fussed. The portions are very generous and the price reasonable.

  • loanshark1 reviewIt was our first time to this restaurant. The ambiance was peaceful and quiet enough to have a conversation. The restaurant was very clean, as was the buffet area, i.e., the salad was not spilling into the raita as it does in some places. The restrooms were spotless and there was sufficient soap and paper napkins in the dispenser. We were especially liked the fact that we only told our first wait-person that we do not want ice in our drinks and every other person who waited on our table and refilled our glasses remembered to not add ice to them. This has happened very rarely and I have not received such good service even in the American and Italian food restaurants, and actually Olive Garden served me meat when I specifically told them I am a vegetarian and repeated my request several times.

  • Sternforpres reviewBuffet can be good, a little cold if you get there early. Quick for lunch downtown. WAY too pricy for dinner, I think I should get some food to take home for 50-75 bucks for 2 people.
