  • jthibodeaux reviewHarbor Seafood and Oyster Bar is one of my favorite restaurants in the New Orleans area. My wife and I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The staff is always friendly and courteous. We stumbled on Harbor Seafood years ago while waiting for our daughter to come into the New Orleans airport. We also love the fresh, retail seafood store next door.H. Chadwick Georgetown, Mississippi

  • jthibodeaux reviewMy brother and I visit New Orleans each year and always have dinner or lunch at Harbor Seafood and Oyster Bar at least twice during our trip. We find the Crayfish and oysters to be a terrific price and outstanding. The catfish po boy is another great item along with a pint of Abita amber. It is our favorite restaurant. They are outstanding in ambiance, service and food.

  • disneymanandwife reviewThis place is beyond decription. It is the epitomy of being 'here'. I come to N.O. several times a year and if I am as close as Baton Rouge I will drive down for dinner. Oysters at 'Doc's' oyster bar come with natural flavor spiced with the native spin. It is a joyful place. Everything on the menu is so fresh it wiggles on the plate. Nuff said, just stop in and tell me I ain't tellin' the truth! Buck

  • disneymanandwife reviewFor THE best vlaue in town on scrumptious fresh seafood and the atmosphere you want and expect in a New Orleans Seafood `dive` it does not get any better than this one.Took me years to find it but once I did I became a regular when I am in town. From boiled crabs and crawfish, to yummy oysters-raw, baked, fried- and some more unusual dishes like Turtle Soup, Harbor Seafood is THE place to show up.Come early or wait but do not miss this place for seafood, done fresh and done right.Oh, BTW, go next door after dinner and pack up a box to take home with you.

  • showme1946 reviewRestaurant a little hard to find, a little small, a little rustic, but the prices, the freshness of the food, the correctness of the preparation of the food makes it well worth a visit. Probably the best kept secret in New Orleans!
