Hula Grill - Whalers Village Reviews
Could not ask for better location. Beautiful views. Food was pretty good too.
Hula Grill is one of the busiest restaurants on Maui, because of its perfect location combined with great food and views. It's right in the middle of Kaanapali Beach, in easy walking distance of the Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, Sheraton and the other Kaanapali hotels and condos. You'll defintely need a reservation here if you don't want a long wait. The menu isn't long, but the food is inovative and wonderfully tasty. If you can get one of the premier tables along the beachside edge, you not only have a great ocean view, but you also have a fabulous place to watch the people walking along the sidewalk that runs the length of Kaanapali Beach.
The Baked Hawaii is a really delicious! Perfect for a vacation!

Awesome staff! Awesome food! They have a 3 course Chef's Tasting pretty much daily from 4:45pm to 5:45pm for $26 that was perfectly portioned! Enjoyed the nightly live music as well

Try the fish tacos they're delicious. Add the Barefoot Brew, honey golden ale made specifically by Maui Brewing Co. and the palettes of a few Hula Grill employees.
by Daniel T.
Definitely paying for the Atmosphere because the food sucks. My cheeseburger was a frozen patty, my husbands ribs and chips were both overdone.
by Sabrina H.
By the way. Whoever were that tropica was better then hula grille, you are an idiot!! Tropica was way over priced and discussing. Stupid. Hula was way better.

Amazingggg!! Loved the fish tacos in the barefoot bar as well as the coconut calamari! The piña cola dad are the best! We ate here 4 times on our honeymoon! Yum!

Great view of the beach and great touch by having you eat at tables in the sand to give more of the whole beachy theme going 👍
by Jeffrey F.
Eat at the barefoot bar! Sand on your feet, live music, delicious food! We had sashimi, pesto chicken sandwich, and fish & chips. LOVED it all.

The good -try the local style pot sticker. It's so good. The freshly made Mai Tai is a rip off. Stay away from trying that. Does not taste fresh at all.

Their Island fruit sampler for $10 is great. Served with a piña colada dip. At lunch Gado Gado salad is great (no egg!). Lettuce wraps can be ordered with tofu...

Consider the bar versus waiting an hour for the restaurant. You can still order from the full menu and its first come first serve. Hover away!

Прекрасный вид,уютно, но еда отвратительная! Одни гамбургеры и стоят 20$, свежий сок хуже пaкетированного! В общем обходите стороной! Ваша G.G.

Great food, great cocktails, great service, adorable decor. Has someone playing live music at happy hour. Don't eat at the Barefoot Bar.
by Masha I.
Seriously poor quality food. The crab wontons are a joke. It's all cream cheese with crab flavor and the worst, most incredibly salty mustard soy dip. It's awful! Ribs are an embarrassment! Stay away
by Melissa H.
Get the Kapulu Joe with Mac Nut Slaw. Barbecue deliciousness!
The best happy hour and live band.
by Jeremy Z.
The atmosphere is amazing. Put you're feet in the sand and enjoy the view and awesome food. Best shrimp cocktail and lava flows. Happy hour is from 3-5 but only includes limited drinks.

Amazzing menu! Much to choose from. The chowder was exactly what I needed! Mahalo!
Peter's special was the bomb diggity. Wife's macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi was awesome as well.

Plantation lemonade is very refreshing after being in the sun! Ask to make it a double for a little extra kick. :)
