Rice Bowl Reviews
I was in this restaurant today with friends and not happy with the service. I ordered a grilled ham and cheese and I received a ham sandwich. My friend ordered extra pickles and didn't get them, as well as cheese, and that wasn't on her burger at all! It took the waitress 45 minutes to get our food and about 20 minutes to get refills, although she walked by us multiple times. She never once asked how our food was or if she could get us anything. When we were finished, it took my friend looking like she was falling asleep to get the check. The waitress wasn't polite and didn't apologize for taking her sweet time. I would understand if it was busy, but there were maybe two other tables that were occupied. There were four unhappy customers, and I was sad because I had been craving the food for weeks and disappointed because it was not the right food or service.
The best burgers you will find, the workers make you feel like family, the fries . . . too many flavors to choose from; and most of all, two young brothers who knew what people wanted and just gave it to us. If you're looking for a healthy soy burger, try someplace else; if you want a true quality piece of meat served with quality ingredients and assembled by those who know how to do it, go to Andre's.
My favorite is the Poorboy Hamburger; their fries are sooo freaking good. The only thing that sucks is the slow service, but other than that it is a cool place to eat.
I read an article in the Lodi Sentinel about Andre's famous 2lb, 3lb and 6lb burgers. They have a challenge to devour the 2lb burger and fries ($10.99) within 30 minutes to get it for free. Well I did it in 18 minutes. They have a great selection of burgers, and frenchfry toppings (which you get one for free) Small and cozy seating, some outside tables. Parking in rear or on street. My next challenge is the 3lb in 30 minutes.
Since the Woodbridge Inn closed for Lunch, Andre's has filled the gap. 25+ burgers up to 6#!!. 15 styles of Fries. This is the one.
Andre's has the best burgers in town, with great seasoned fries.
