24 hour jumbo pancakes for like $6. For those pancake dinner nights! :)

Cozy, and usually busy. Food is good but portions are huge. Share if you don't eat your weight in food!

Limited menu. Lots of food. Always a line but worth the wait.

I ordered the French toast. Couldn't eat it all (6 pieces!) but man, it was good. Sprinkle of cinnamon and powdered sugar--check!

OMG great coffee, fresh pancakes, crispy bacon!

The 90-year-old diner was bought up by former mayor Richard Riordan in 1981, who fell in love with its ruthlessly efficient service. We like the fact that you never know who you'll bump into
We always end up returning again and again through its lockless doors. Maybe it's because it has such a grounding presence in one of the most rapidly changing areas of the city.
Saw a huge line my first day in LA and I knew I had to try it! The french toast is delicious!!
by Vanessa Valentin
Portions are way too big. Steak with mashed potatoes, greenbeans and coleslaw is delicious.
Be prepared to eat yourself silly
by Laurel K.
The well done steak was a wee bit tough to deal with but tasted good, there's no sauce, I guess that's the Traditional American way. But the omllete-kind potatoe that came with the steak was great.
by Naeem Rahimi

The long line on the left of the building is for table seating, the much shorter line on the right is for counter seating. This is a quicker option for 1 or 2 people.
