Alcove Cafe And Bakery Reviews
The Alcove is absolutely packed on weekend mornings in typical Los Feliz/Silverlake hipster rush, but don't let the ironic crowd fool you. The food is delicious--have you ever wondered why it's so hard to find a broccoli omelette? Look no further--and well worth the inevitable wait.
Perfect spot for hanging out with friends or for a date. Great selection of food and beverages but the greatest part is its patio which gives a European feel. Definitely a place to put on your list!
by Kostas P.
Great food (we had the crab cake Benedict and breakfast quesadilla), decent coffee, ambitious and expensive desserts, and a wonderful ambiance and outdoor dining space.
by Eli S.
The make a Mexicano here which is amazing. Ancho Reyes, Campari and soda. Soooo good. They have Atlantico rum which makes the best daiquiris. And of course, the tequila Ocho here is divine.

Great weekend brunch

Try to avoid usual eating times because it gets real busy. Also if it's too hot and sunny you might want to be indoors.
by DAR Abdul
A great date spot, cosy with plenty of outdoor seating. ❤ the Crab Cake Benedict, the Chocolate Bread Pudding and the Mediterranean Steak Salad. The pastries, and mixology drinks are also delicious.

Turkey pesto panini is really good. Fries are amazing with blue cheese dressing. I've had cappuccino at alot of places, but none compare to Alcove. Love the outdoor seatting. Gets crowded sometimes.

There's a fancy new bar but you can always order booze from the regular food line as well. And they'll deliver your drink!
The cocktails with #MezcalElSilencio at this place are unbelievable!! Very tasty and innovative. Order the sliders and the French fries, delicious as well. Beautiful outside seating. #BigBar mezcal

If the Alcove had a Ken doll it's accessories would include boat shoes, a SAGcard & a popped collar. Nice al fresco dining. Not a fan of ordering @the crowded counter. Tipping upon ordering preferred.
by Mystery S.
For a laid-back neighborhood vibe that's also doggie friendly, Alcove is a great spot. You can order a drink from Big Bar, or try your own hand at cocktailing with their make-your-own-mimosa option.

Great bakery, but the person behind the counter was pretty incompetent, giving me the wrong food and wrong sized drink lid, spilling it all over.
by Michael G.
Great place to people watch and eat outdoors.
by BJ D.
Don't order the potato pancakes. The menu description makes them sound yummy, like they've come up with an original take on the item. It's not an improvement unless you like grease with little flavor.
by Emma F.
Chocolate Brioche Bread Pudding. That is all.
by Noah N.
Rosie is the best bartender! Goat dates a pig and burgers are amazing!

The Kali Heart Pinot Noir and Cheese plate are the perfect combo. Or you can do sliders & fries. I don't know what they put in the ketchup here. Love it.
Don't tip- why would you? Do u tip at carls jr? Isn't that the same service they provide? And tip before u get any service nonetheless?
