  • ChefMozOne of my favorite neighborhood joints. Excellent french comfort food at extremely reasonable prices.

  • ChefMozWe had an absolutely great dinner. We heard wonderful things about the early bird, so we decided to give it a try--AWESOME food, value,etc... what a great find!

  • ChefMozI went there to see if it was anything like it was in 1980. I used to go there a lot at the time. They had great crepes and omelettes. The menu has changed. The food is good and I liked the ambiance. I was only disappointed at the bread. I expected the true French bagette. There was one other annoying thing and that was the short man with a hat who came in and out all night and spoke nonsense very loudly to anyone who would listen to him, or even not listen to him.

  • ChefMozOh My God!!!!!We had the greatest meal ever last week - It reminded me of the days I used to live in Paris. Our food was amazing in taste, presentation, quality, etc... Our waiter was absolutely wonderful-he made great recommendations as well as being very attentive to our needs. I've been going to La Poubelle on and off for about 15 years and a few months ago they went though a remodel--I truly believe that it gave new life to our little diamond in Hollywood.

  • Perfect place to go before hitting up a show at UCB, never too crowded and a very friendly staff.

  • Really fun bar scene at night, but also check the place out on Sundays, when you get an appetizer and an entrée for $16 – not to mention half off on some of the wines.

  • A bit pricey, but good celeb spotting, quality food, and decent drink options. Occasionally can catch some live music...usually midweek. $20 minimum for cards.

  • One of my favorite places to go. The filet mignon is great, as well as the fish of the day. Also, the nutella and banana crepes are some of the best in LA.

  • 'It's really French,' is a common quote you will hear at La Paubelle. This 42-year standing bistro gets a new chef and new respect in Hollywood.
