• We went for lunch, have been back for breakfast and dinners. Great food, terrific servers. Cozy atmosphere, family friendly, kids welcomed! Will treat our out of town guests to many meals!

• The Huckleberry gives consistently great food on every visit with the best value in town. The sauces are always skillfully prepared. Quiet nooks or a nice main room, the building is still a maze but it's cleaner and less crowded than it's previous incarnation. At last good food without that lead belly feeling you often get in Old Town Louisville restaurants.

• Had 1st time waitress, so everything was slow, it was her first day, no big deal. But we got burnt toast that came out with our check, No water, worst bloody mary I've had, and the food was unworthy.

• Don't go on a Sunday - staff is frenzied, cocktails are terrible and they might commit the worst breakfast sin and bring you burnt toast.

• Had to eat there every day on my trip: breakfast burrito with chorizo, black-n-blue burger (grass fed), buttermilk pancakes, biscuits and gravy... The Lady Grey tea on ice in the summer is fantastic.
