  • ChefMozThis was the worst dining experience I've ever had. My husband and I met friends at Ricardo's for dinner; none of us had ever eaten there before. We heard the food was good, but to beware of the attitude of the owner and staff. I thought, "How bad could they be...as long as the food is good, I can deal." I was wrong! Shortly after being seated, we ordered our drinks. My husband noticed right away that the glass top to the table was cracked and was surprised they would allow that in a restaurant of this caliber. My friends spouse hadn't seen the crack and put his arms on the table and quickly recoiled, because the glass cut his elbow, causing him to bleed. When we called the owner over to show him - he was immediately defensive, saying the table wasn't cracked that morning! He rubbed his hands all over the crack in the glass, aggressively shaking the table and saying, I don't feel any broken glass! It was like a circus sideshow - everyone was looking to see what he was doing. He sarcastically offered to get our friend a bandaid. I don't know if this guy thought we did it on purpose to get a free meal or something - but that is exactly how he acted. Not one word of apology - just an embarrassing scene. We walked out...and will never return. I'm sorry - I don't care how good the food might be - but Ricardo will ruin your appetite. Stay far away

  • I ordered the cesar salad and eggplant lasagna. Both were very good. The portions are generous.
