• When I worked there as a waitress, for years in the late 80's the food was very good. I really enjoyed the garlic bread and the salad .. mostly for the dressing. I have been trying for years to copy it! To dunk your bread into the dressing once the salad was done was heavenly! I moved away years ago, but have gone back when home.

• The steaks are incredible, don't listen to anyone else. The pastas are not always reliable though, sometimes they rule and sometimes it is bad. The salads are pretty good, the pizzas are great (if you like thin crust), the bread is good but if you don't like lots of butter you might want to order light butter. The stuffed peppers rule, but the hot pepper appetizers are not that great. The 3 things I really loved were: Lasagna with cheese sauce, Salad with meatballs and meat sauce on it (order a salad and a meatball snack, then pour meatball snack on salad), and Garlic Butter on pizza (order a small side of garlic butter and pour it on your pizza).I can say that the Villa can be a little over priced and sometimes the pasta isn't the best, but all the other Italian restraunts in Marquette aren't good at all.

• It's well known that the steaks at the Villa are amazing. If one could get the recipe, they'd make a fortune. The garlic bread (yes greasy with garlic butter) is a heavenly indulgence. Great pizza try it with Giardenaria (I'm not sure if they call it that, but it's an authentic Italian recipe of pickled vegetables and peppers), YUM! The pastas are a little unreliable....sometimes great, sometimes so-so. But, for melt in your mouth seasoned steaks, this is the place by far.

• The steaks are GREAT and the pasta is very good too. The garlic bread is a little too greasy for me.The shrimp is overpriced for its quality, but over all they are a good resteraunt.

• When it comes to Italian food in the Marquette area, The Villa Capri is the worst there is. From dry steaks to overdone pasta dishes, soggy pizzas to their greasy drenched garlic bread, you WILL NOT be glad you tried this dining experience.
