A lovely diner set off from one the main roads in the state and with close access to the interstate highways. It has a very welcoming air, bottomless cups of coffee and homestyle cooked food rarely found these days. If you want real food, cooked for you (not reheated from a frozen state) at a great price (most meals are $5 - $12, the highest I've ever seen is $15) with good service -and specials everyday just for kids (usually $1 - $5)- then this is the place to go.

Lots of old fashioned diner food. Inexpensive and good portions. A central Vermont tradition.

Don't expect too much. It's a traditional diner that has lost much of what made it great through the frequent changeover of the owners.

Meatloaf and gravy would have been good, but it was served barely warm(tepid to cool). We ate 1/2 hr before they closed and kitchen probably didn't keep it on warming table was excuse waitress gave.

The turkey dinner is great, and if you ever see the blackberry buckwheat pancakes on the menu, get them. Best pancakes I've ever had.

The older waitresses have horrible attitudes. Very rude.

The steak and cheese is a steak pattie. Should just call it a steak burger

A great place to come for lunch with friends. The strawberry shortcake cappucino sounds too wierd not to try!

I love this place I always stop here on my way home from camping. Ultimate diner food!

Be wary of sitting at the counter for service. It attracts the crazies.

Holy Geriatrics batman! Not a bad atmosphere, really good prices. We're gonna try the strawberry shortcake cappuccino.

Breakfast all day. Old 50's mo-town playing in the background. Classic down-home dinner specials like chicken pot pie and meatloaf. Save room for dessert... They have every pie imaginable.

The Maple Cream Pie tastes like French Toast in pie form. Amazing!
