La Salle à Manger Reviews
great service, wine and - most importantly - food. Trust their wine suggestion - the wine the waiter recommend for the rabbit special was unusual and delicious.

Open late. Veronique is the best. Food is also really good.

Nice dinner option with a ton of variety. Both the flank steak and sausage were great options, but there were 5 other things that looked great. Be sure to start with the pork tacos.

Mathieu Cloutier, chef of Kitchen Galerie, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Palourdes frites.

Mon resto préféré! Prenez une place au bar et admirez le staff derrière!

La Salle à Manger is the poster child for Plateau scenesterdom but the restaurant is not too cool to forget what binds a place to a particular 'hood in the long run. [Eater 38 Member]
Fantastic food and service. Some of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. highly recommend. Try the rabbit tacos.

Went to "La Salle à Manger" for the first time last night and absolutely loved it! Charming decor, lovely staff and the food! The food was just incredible, a must try!

This bistro hits all marks of Nouvelle Montréal cuisine: taxidermy in the dining room, chalkboard of nose-to-tail specials & scruffy hipster chefs. More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7c

Excellent service, bonne bouffe et belle ambiance. On a mentionné qu'on avait pas vraiment aimé le dessert et le serveur nous a offert de nous le rembourser!

Must try the Carpaccio de cerf! Service un peu lent mais ça vaut la peine d'attendre.

Amazing waitress, great ambiance, and amazon tasting food! Highly recommend!

Liked it a lot! They have a different type of meat for the steaks and tartares every day! Fun and loud atmosphere so great for suppers with friends!
Assiette de charcuterie exquis et côte de poulain pour deux délicieux

If you can't decide on an app, get the Antipasto platter. It gives you a sample of a few appetizers and is big enough for a main.

This place is a MUST! Great ambiance, friendly and interactive staff! Salmon Tartar is to die for. Seafood Platter is a must as well, worth it almost just for the presentation!

The charcuterie is extra good when you roll it all up into one big ball and eat it like a delicious, salty apple.
